Born to the relatively affluent Von Nurnberg family, a morteus noble family, in the Kaywellian capital of Korroway in 1845, Perle displayed a significant aptitude and interest in politics and activism from a young age. To this end, she involved herself in numerous school leadership positions before studying political science at the prestigious Korroway Imperial State University, where she was noted for high academic performance. It was also during her higher education years that Perle formally aligned herself with the progressive, futurist Stellar Caretaker party; on top of that, she engaged in activism promoting equal rights for lordions, mortei, and non-Uingffhian aliens living on [[Uingffh/ATKAT AU|Uingffh]].

After graduating Korroway Imperial State, Perle gained more experience in politics by acting as a diplomat and ambassador for the Kingdom of Kaywell; she engaged in diplomatic meetings with both other Uingffhian countries and other stellar civilizations part of the [[Interstellar Consortium of Polyingffh]]. Additionally, she continued campaigning for the rights of non-tabulons on Uingffh and Uingffhian-dominated star systems. For her role in fostering a decades-long period of peace within the Interstellar Consortium, Perle was eventually elected to the Kesslerim - Kaywell's parliament - in 1945. Eventually, she was elected Highmost Minister of the Kesslerim in 2014.

The '''Imperial Kingdom of Kaywell''' refers to the [[Kingdom of Kaywell]] following the [[1241 a.r.k. Kaywell prime ministerial election]], when the highly reactionary [[Imperial Traditionalists]] secured control over all facets of the Kaywellian government and subsequently transformed the nation into a theocratic {{w|herrenvolk}} state over a period of several years. At its greatest territorial extent, Kaywell held developed colonies in a total of 50 star systems; the nation also engaged in top-secret military research in three other star systems not counted as part of Kaywell's territory in public records. The superhabitable moon of [[Uingffh/ATKAT AU|Uingffhaestia]] served as Kaywell's capital and origin, with its three native sentient species - the tabulons, lordions, and mortei - serving as Kaywell's dominant species as well as the only species granted official citizenship rights. Kaywell's capital system was the Ingffhaestian System (known to humans as Gliese 105), where Uingffh exists as the moon of the gas giant Coppelius; however, other major population centers included the Esernium, Altaria, and Thrawn Systems.

Prior to the coup, Kaywell was a prominent member of the [[Interstellar Consortium of Polyingffh]] thriving under a societal system adjacent to a Nordic-style social democracy. However, when the brown dwarf [[Thriteria]] passed close to the Ingffhaestian System and caused numerous impact events, Kaywellian conservative factions - particularly the Imperial Traditionalist party - harshly criticized Kaywell's prioritization of evacuating vulnerable communities over protecting the nation's cultural and economic assets. The Thriteria crisis continued to be used as the foundation for rising conservatism and nationalism within Kaywell over the next few years.

Imperial Traditionalist discontent culminated in 2019, when the Imperial Traditionalists experienced a sweeping victory in that Uingffhian year’s prime ministerial election, having already secured control over both the Kesslerim (legislature) and the High Imperial Court (judicial). This is considered the formation date of the Imperial Kingdom of Kaywell, as it also coincides with the Imperial Traditionalists’ quick decision to have Kaywell cease membership within the Interstellar Consortium. Using advanced technology plundered from ancient ruins connected to the [[Izlondian Imbrialty]], Imperial Kaywell then proceeded to secure control over the rest of Uingffh. Afterwards, Imperial Kaywell proceeded to codify Uingffhian supremacist beliefs into the nation's laws, using [[Urlum Eudae Kaywell]]'s discovery of the Uingffhians’ direct descendance from the Izlondians (who seeded all known extra-Uingffhian life in the local stars) as evidence of the three Uingffhian sentient species' inherent genetic superiority.

After taking over Uingffhaestia, Imperial Kaywell continued to expand its influence in the form of interplanetary and interstellar conquests, declaring war on the rest of Polyingffh's member civilizations. Despite its numerical disadvantage, the Imperial Kaywellian Star Navy caught the Polyingffhian forces by surprise with its plundered Izlondian weaponry and naval supremacy, which proved unmatched in combat. Over a period of several devastating decades, the Kaywellian Empire conquered dozens upon dozens of other star systems, forcibly incorporating any alien species they came across into their strict social hierarchy under the pretense of Uingffhian species supremacy; planets, moons, and star systems that refused to submit were brutally rendered uninhabitable by destructive Kaywellian orbital bombardments or the use of Izlondian superweapons. In the process of conquering other star systems, Kaywell also acquired numerous other artifacts left behind by the ancient Izlondian civilization, adding on to their already-powerful military.

The original Kaywell's focus on the arts, science, and culture continued to flourish under the reign of Imperial Kaywell as the most important aspect of its society. The Imperial Kingdom tended to prefer intellectual pursuits and encouraged art, music, creative writing, theater, and other forms of expression amongst its citizens, who enjoyed high-quality and rigorous education under the Kingdom's many private schools, colleges, and universities. Sports and other physical activities, though, were not marginalized, with most Uingffhians viewing them as essential for health, wellbeing, and overall happiness. However, the rise of the Grand Admirals as the de facto rulers of Kaywell as well as the adoption of a laissez-faire capitalism-esque economic system during Kaywell's later years threatened the value of the arts in Imperial Kaywellian society. Tabulons, lordions, and mortei increasingly began viewing them as wastes of time and energy due to the inability of Grand Admirals and corporations to put them to practical use; instead, the Kaywellians began promoting more "practical" careers like those in scientific and engineering fields, with liberal and fine arts being restricted to the richest and wealthiest in imperial society. Though Kaywell held traditionalist cultural values and social norms, the Kingdom also supported scientific advancement and readily funded ventures into outer space, though these ventures largely had imperialist and expansionist motivations behind them.

Another major aspect of Kaywell's society and politics was its strict caste system, known as the Nerus Korndelia. The Nerus Korndelia segregated each alien race living under the Kingdom into ranks which arbitrarily assigned them specific role. The various castes of the Nerus Korndelia were far from equal; the three Uingffhian intelligent species (tabulons, lordions, mortei) - the highest-ranking species in the Nerus Korndelia - enjoyed much greater degrees of freedom than lower-ranking species and frequently abused their power and exploited members of lower castes. Furthermore, the tabulons, lordions, and mortei were the only species involved in the integration of species into the Nerus Korndelia; species subjugated into the Kingdom of Kaywell had absolutely no say in the role the Nerus Korndelia assigned to them. Kaywell punished deviation from said assigned roles severely, utilizing cruel and unusual methods like torture to "correct" deviant individuals. Oftentimes, they simply executed deviants on the spot - a privilege Uingffhian species were free to exert on "lower" species. Overall, the Nerus Korndelia serves to perpetuate racist notions of Uingffhian supremacy; fittingly, it originated from an earlier system known as the Korndelia, which segregated races within the three Uingffhian species in a similar fashion.

Imperial Kaywell's government is a de jure parliamentary monarchy. Though a royal family exists, political power rests in the democratically elected High Imperial Kesslerim, the Kingdom's legislature, according to Kaywellian law. Notably, however, Kaywell follows the principles of a Herrenvolk Democracy, with only three alien species - the Uingffh-native tabulons, lordions, and mortei - enjoying the power to vote or run for office. All other alien species under the Kingdom's rule do not have voting rights. In addition, compared to royal families in other parliamentary monarchies, Kaywell's royal family exerts significantly more power over its nation; the reigning monarch and their children enjoy various freedoms and privileges including the right to execute or punish their servants as they see fit and the ability to directly propose or even pass legislation.

However, as Imperial Kaywell progressed, the Grand Admirals of the Imperial Kaywellian military's four chivalric orders - the Orders of Novus, Kerbos, Uris, and Scentrilla - gradually gained power and eventually rose as the de facto rulers of Kaywell. The Grand Admirals would lobby and manipulate both the monarchy and the High Imperial Kesslerim into carrying out their endeavors, which typically favored further expansionism and punishing species whose individuals had personally wronged certain Grand Admirals. They would also decentralize Kaywellian authority somewhat by converting conquered star systems into more autonomous dominions ruled by individual Grand Admirals, who loosely answered to the four orders' Grandmasters back in Ingffhaestia. Notably, two particular Grand Admirals - Norland rei Luneburg of the Order of Sorellius and Third Princess Urlum Eudae Kaywell of the Order of Novus - would attempt to centralize political control onto themselves as dictators with cults of personality during Kaywell's waning years.

The Kingdom of Kaywell's dominant religion is Keliosity, which revolves around the worship of the gas giant Coppelius, Uingffh's parent planet, as the deity Kelios. Imperial Kaywell in particularly primarily adhered to a new form of Keliosity: Izlondo-Keliosity, which arose in response to the discovery of the ruins of the Izlondian civilization, an ancient alien society responsible for artificially seeding all known life except for the tabulons, who had naturally evolved from the Izlondians. Izlondo-Keliosity professed that the Izlondians were divine disciples of Kelios and that the Uingffhians, as direct descendants of the Izlondians, were also blessed and held a Kelios-given duty to purify the rest of the cosmos through conquest. As Kaywell's new state-sponsored religion, Izlondo-Keliosity guided Kaywell's many interstellar conquests throughout the 21st and 22nd centuries.

As part of its efforts to replicate parts of the [[Izlondian Imbrialty]]'s culture, Imperial Kaywell divides its history into ages. Like Izlondia's ages, Imperial Kaywell's ages are named after stages in the life cycle of a plant, but Imperial Kaywell distinguishes its ages with the addition of "holy" as an adjective for each age.
===Holy Seed Age (pre-2019)===
The revelation that the Izlondian civilization, as the Uingffhians' ancestors, seeded all other known life in the stars is often cited as the reason behind the transformation of Kaywell into an imperial kingdom. But in reality, Imperial Kaywell's origins are much more complex, with traditionalist disillusionment with Kaywell's progressive policies stemming back to events over a decade prior.
====Thriteria Orbital Crisis (2005)====

The stars Ingffhaestia and Avimotalis can be seen in the background.]]In 2005, '''Thriteria''', a brown dwarf of spectral type T2V, passed within 522 astronomical units of Ingffhaestia - in close enough proximity to destabilize the comet belt surrounding the Ingffhaestian star system. Thriteria's gravity deflected numerous comets and other minor bodies into the planetary orbits of the Ingffhaestian System, leading to an increase in the frequency of impact events on the system's planets and moons. Inhabited worlds like Digrazia, Ibiridius, Cornelia, Euphemia, and even Uingffh itself were among the worlds impacted by comets redirected by Thriteria; the comets wrought devastation not only by directly impacting cities and other inhabited regions, but also by impacting nearby ocean basins and generating powerful tsunamis that damaged coastal regions. Comets and asteroids also occasionally damaged free-floating space colonies orbiting other planets. Thriteria eventually exited the close vicinity of Ingffhaestia in 2006.

For one, the nation used its technology and predictions from scientists to pinpoint populated areas at risk of impact and subsequently evacuated them, averting numerous fatalities. Additionally, Uingffhian engineers erected and/or strengthened physical protections against natural disasters, such as retractable barriers against any tsunamis generated by oceanic impact events. Kaywell also attempted to prevent or mitigate impact events in the first place by having spacecraft deflect or fragment incoming asteroids and comets. Notably, the Kingdom and other Uingffhian nations paid special attention to disadvantaged communities such as lower-income communities and communities primarily populated by members of minority groups.

However, in focusing on solely preventing death, Kaywell did not fully succeed in protecting cultural/historical sites and major economic centers from damage wrought by impact events associated with Thriteria, leading to discontentment amongst Kaywell's conservative factions such as the Imperial Traditionalist party. Such factions cited Kaywell's philosophy behind its recovery programs as catalysts for cultural and economic decline that followed the Thriteria Crisis, accusing the Kaywellian government of not prioritizing Uingffhian historical heritage and economic prosperity. Numerous Grand Admirals of the Kingdom's four holy orders also sided with the Imperial Traditionalists due to the impact events damaging military assets as well as due to the government rejecting some asteroid deflection proposals petitioned by the military.

Anger towards Kaywell's more progressive factions were reflected in the culture of the citizenry as well. During the years following the Thriteria Crisis, a new genre of stage performance known as the '''Vengeance Play''' grew increasingly common amongst Uingffhians, particularly tabulon youths. Vengeance Plays would use emotionally charged songs and stage performances to tell political stories about Uingffhians getting revenge on non-Uingffhian antagonists for mistreating them, and were designed to empower Uingffhians into defending their culture and realizing their worth. They also spread narratives that Uingffhians are heavily mistreated in stellar society and were the ones truly being oppressed. Such plays tended to be cheap and easily accessible to the public, helping further increase the Imperial Traditionalists’ popularity.

=====Imperial Traditionalist response=====
The Imperial Traditionalists and Grand Admirals would continue to use the Thriteria Crisis as a justification for various traditionalist and patriotic causes throughout the succeeding decade such as the promotion of arts and culture (particularly patriotic works) and increasing military spending. During these years, Kaywell (and the rest of Uingffh as well) indeed experienced trouble reconstructing and maintaining cultural landmarks such as the four orders' imperial galleries, which saw some damage during the crisis. Additionally, the nation faced various economic struggles including higher rates of inflation and increased costs of living. Imperial Traditionalists attributed both of these events to overspending on the part of the Kaywellian federal government, though rapid resource changes caused by the Thriteria Crisis and excessive spending on the part of the Imperial Traditionalists and Grand Admirals themselves also contributed to Kaywell's hardships.

Bigotry against non-Uingffhian species constituted a major aspect of the Imperial Traditionalists' platform. During the years leading up to 2018, they attributed various societal ills to Kaywell's non-Uingffhian immigrant population, particularly the kingdom's significant [[Tristanian]] population. They also criticized the broader societal values of non-Uingffhian cultures and encouraged Uingffhians to embrace their culture (particularly their Keliostic faith) more fervently in order to maintain a stronger society. During this time period, Imperial Traditionalists controversially attempted to pass numerous laws restricting the rights and freedoms of non-Uingffhians, to mixed effectiveness.
====Drafting of the Second Apocalix Initiative====
In 2012, the Imperial Traditionalists consolidated their planned pro-Uingffhian policies into a single political initiative: the '''[[Second Apocalix Intiative]]'''. Its name is derived from the [[First Apocalix]] that brought about the end of the ancient Izlondian civilization; likewise, the Second Apocalix Initiative serves to reject all of the progressive policies advocated by the Polyingffhian Federation and the Kesslerim that existed under it.

The Second Apocalix Initiative had two components. The publicly-released initiative, to be enacted in the event that the Imperial Traditionalists secure full control of the Kesslerim and High Imperial Court, aims to reshape the Kaywellian government to promote traditional Uingffhian values. First and foremost, the public component of the Second Apocalix Initiative advocated for reparations for the kingdom's four chivalric orders, the restoration of their galleries, and the consolidation of military power under the four orders' Grand Admirals. The initiative also advocated for a variety of other "traditionalist" policies including the elimination of numerous economic regulations, the removal of legal protection against discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, the promotion of capital punishment, the mass deportation of non-Uingffhians living in Kaywell, the promotion of traditional Kaywellian arts and culture, and significant increases in the funding and prominence of the Kaywellian Star Navy and its four chivalric orders. The Second Apocalix Initiative also proposed having Kaywell (and Uingffh as a whole) not only leave the Interstellar Consortium, but also begin colonizing other neighboring planets and star systems on its own accord.

The central cross-shaped body measures 2 kilometers in height.]] In addition to the public political initiative released by the Imperial Traditionalists, a second, secretive component of the Second Apocalix Initiative - dubbed the '''Homelander Operation''' - was drafted by the Grand Admirals who aligned themselves with the Imperial Traditionalists. This operation entailed the secretive construction of 12 impact cathedrals (multi kilometer-long spacecraft designed to impact planetary surfaces and cause mass destruction) known as '''Ars Vesalums''' - a violation of Polyingffhian treaties outlawing the construction of impact cathedrals after the War of the Cathedrals in 1858-1859. The Ars Vesalums would be constructed using a combination of resources managed by the four Kaywellian orders and ancient Izlondian technology extracted from the Great Pit. Each Ars Vesalum would also each contain complements of numerous kaelums (Uingffhian mecha suits) including 12 elite custom units retrofitted/enhanced by Izlondian technological artifacts. In addition to the main 12, 19 other backup impact cathedrals and kaelums were also slated to be constructed, albeit not until later on when the Imperial Traditionalists had finalized their plans.

The 12 Ars Vesalums and their corresponding custom kaelums were intended to be commanded by a new elite force of guardian pilots - the '''Twelve Azaleas''' - slated to replace the kingdom's existing force of knights known as the Glass Angels, whom the Imperial Traditionalists and Grand Admirals viewed as "soft" due to their inclusion of non-Uingffhians among their ranks. The Twelve Azaleas were to attack other regions of Uingffh or Polyingffh should the 1241 a.r.k. election not proceed according to the Imperial Traditionalists' plans. They were also to carry out attacks on non-Uingffhian worlds under the guise of a terrorist group before the election in order to test out the capabilities of their kaelums, embolden Uingffhian supremacists, and intimidate Polyingffh. Meanwhile, the 19 auxiliary cathedrals and kaelums would be given to a reserve force of knights known as the '''Nineteen Adzes'''. Together, the Twelve Azaleas and Nineteen Azes would form the '''Orbital Knights''' of the Imperial Traditionalists once they secured control over Kaywell.

The Imperial Traditionalists carried out various measures between 2005 and 2016 to advance the progression of the Second Apocalix Initiative. Militarily, aside from already carrying out the construction of the Ars Vesalums and the Twelve Azaleas' personal kaelums, the party and its allies also promoted greater funding towards the Kaywellian Star Navy and improved its image by helping rebuild and refurbish the four orders' galleries. Culturally, the Imperial Traditionalists sponsored various major orchestral concerts, art viewings, and other creative events, which allowed their supporters to grow in number. Economically, the Imperial Traditionalists helped improve Kaywell's economic self-sufficiency, reducing the kingdom's economic reliance on other stellar powers. Collaboration with renowned companies like [[Sriteria Industries/ATKAT AU|Sriteria Industries]] also improved the Imperial Traditionalists' leverage amidst allegations of speciesism and xenophobia against non-Uingffhians.

The Imperial Traditionalists used their newfound societal leverage to secure control of both houses of the Kesslerim as well as the High Imperial Court by 2012. In doing so, the party was able to restrict the progressive factions of the Kesslerim from addressing issues like species discrimination and cultural/economic restoration; by doing so, the Imperial Traditionalists succeeded in dampening the reputation of the progressive parties, which the Kaywellian populace increasingly began viewing as inept and stagnant. Aside from this measure, the Imperial Traditionalists also proposed various bills limiting the immigration and rights of non-Uingffhians; however, these acts had mixed success, with regulatory agencies reversing many of them.

====Star Crusher Protests (2016)====
In 2016, protests began erupting in Kaywell over its continued construction of weapons of mass destruction (i.e. star crushers) following repeated skirmishes involving star crushers in the Oirator, Sazatos, and Sarallel Systems. The progressively-minded protestors called for Polyingffh to either scale down Kaywell's militarization or nationalize the Kaywellian Star Navy altogether, and also clamp down on the four orders’ influence. These protests ultimately had mixed to low effectiveness; though the Kesslerim passed some reform policies and community awareness of Kaywell’s political flaws increased, Kaywell overall remained the dominant military power of the Consortium, and its military continued growing unimpeded.

Despite their ineffectiveness, the Star Crusher Protests still had the important effect of exacerbating the divides in Kaywell’s progressive and futurist factions and parties. Dissatisfaction over Kesslerim’s largest progressive party, the Stellar Caretakers’ tolerance of Kaywell’s militarism created fractures in the futurists/progressives that hampered their ability to shape Kaywelian society. This thus allowed the Imperial Traditionalists to further consolidate their power, as their rivals were too busy infighting to combat their rise.

====Discovery of the lower Izlondian Ruins and the Izlondian Revelation (2018)====

During a routine expedition to the Great Pit in 2018, Kaywellian royals Urlum Eudae Kaywell and Neidon Galileo Kaywell discovered a new section of the Great Pit. There, the third princess and the fourth princioso discovered the existence of extremely old, yet well-preserved ruins of a civilization whose architecture did not match that of any known civilizations. Further analysis and research of the ruins revealed their true source: the Izlondian civilization, with the ruins being the remains of their capital city of Iscandar.

This symbol is speculated to be the insignia of the Izlondian civilization]]More importantly, evidence pointed to the Drori species forming the ancestors of the Uingffhian races. In addition to bearing a remarkably similar appearance to modern tabulons (with their only major physical difference being their longer wing-tentacles and head crest feathers), the Izlondians also shared a significant amount of DNA - 97.5% - with the tabulons as demonstrated by another study carried out later in 2018. Evolutionary scientists postulated that the First Apocalix spared a small handful of Drori who would later come to evolve into the tabulon race.

Xenobiologists at the KAD and similar organizations have long noted unusual biological similarities between life on Uingffh and life on other planets and moons in Ingffhaestia: the presence of cells and DNA, division into plants and animals, similar body structures in animals, etc. These similarities were long dismissed as either coincidences or a natural tendency of evolution, but analysis of records left behind by the Izlondians revealed that they had, in fact, seeded life on other planets and moons, accounting for the similarities; specifically, they sent out large moon-sized space stations to place samples of non-sentient Izlondian life forms on potentially habitable worlds. Once more, these records pointed to the Izlondians sending these "Izlondian arks" to not only other celestial bodies within Ingffhaestia, but also other solar systems outside of Ingffhaestia, raising the possibility of extraingffhaestian lifeforms on worlds around other stars.

Across the Interstellar Consortium, some stellar powers fell into disarray, but any others also saw the discovery as a sign for greater interconnectedness and cooperation between species on account of their shared origins. On Uingffh itself, discoveries relating to the Izlondians fueled calls for heightened space exploration and the development of more powerful means of space travel.

However, influenced by Kaywell supremacist beliefs originating from the First Age of Imperium, many radical Uingffhians took Izlondia-related revelations as evidence for Uingffhian species supremacy. This only added even more to the Imperial Traditionalists’ already-sprawling reactionary support base and Uingffh’s increasing social conservatism. Likewise, the Imperial Traditionalists took full advantage of the discovery to disseminate their beliefs, using the Izlondian revelation as evidence that Kaywell deserved proper “cultural restoration.”

The most extreme of Uingffhian supremacists in Kaywell and its allies combined notions of Uingffhian supremacy related to the Izlondians with religious principles, viewing the Izlondians - and thus, by extension, the tabulons - as divine. '''Izlondo-Keliosity''', a new radical Keliostic sect that arose in early 2019, professed that the Izlondians were a divine civilization blessed by Kelios firself and that the Uingffhians, as their descendants, carried the responsibility of reclaiming the Izlondians' interstellar empire in the name of winning Kelios' favor. Izlondo-Keliosity also asserted that due to being direct descendants of the Izlondians rather than products of their life-seeding experiments, the Uingffhians held an importance above other sentient races.

Izlondo-Keliosity spread rapidly amongst Kaywellian citizens to the point that by the end of 2025, over 54% of Keliostics in Kaywell (or 22% of all citizens in the Kingdom) identified as Izlondo-Keliostic. The rise of this new religion further cemented Kaywell's path towards a new Age of Imperium similar to the first Age of Imperium. In addition, Izlondo-Keliosity quickly spread to the neighboring United States of Osuwa, a nation which had grown into one of Kaywell's closest allies; this influenced Osuwa's decision to unite with Kaywell during the Second Age of Imperium. The Keliostic Church itself refrained from officially recognizing Izlondo-Keliosity, but nonetheless, many of its upper-ranking members came to support the new sect.

It should also be noted, however, that Izlondo-Keliosity functioned more as a means to a political end as opposed to a legitimate religion. Many of its self-professed followers did not genuinely believe in the religion, but rather used it as a vehicle for their anger towards Kaywell's perceived cultural decline and the Interstellar Consortium's "xenophilia."

As 2019 progressed, the Second Apocalix Initiative was revised and finalized as '''Operation 1241 a.r.k.''' Operation 1241 a.r.k. remained largely the same as previous editions, but hinged on an Imperial Traditionalist securing the position of highmost minister in the upcoming 1241 a.r.k. Kesslerim elections, hence the initiative's name. Additionally, Operation 1241 a.r.k. included clear provisions to establish Izlondo-Keliosity as Kaywell's state religion and transform the Kingdom into a theocracy. Operation 1241 a.r.k.'s stated goal was to completely reverse not only the modern progressive policies passed by the previous highmost minister (Perle von Nurnberg) and Polyingffh, but also the entire [[Kingdom of Kaywell#Geptunia Revolution and Wexxian Age of Freedom|Wexxian Age of Freedom]] in order to restore Kaywell to its former traditional glory.

Meanwhile, the Imperial Traditionalists chose '''Siddalee Von Urusera''', a charismatic yet controversial connoisseur of Uingffhian arts, as their candidate for Highmost Minister. It should also be noted that 2019 also marked King Yorgos Basilios Bilionis Kaywell's planned abdication of the throne, which would make way for Shol Limnel Kaywell (who supported the Imperial Traditionalists) to become the next monarch of Kaywell.

The 1241 a.r.k. Kesslerim elections sparked intense debate and conflict across not only Uingffh, but also the entire Interstellar Consortium. Von Urusera attracted much support for her promises of restoring Kaywell's culture, rebuilding from the Thriteria Crisis, and assisting the Uingffhian economy; notably, most of her supporters were upper-class tabulons. Urlum Eudae Kaywell, one of the original discoverers of the Izlondian ruins, supported Von Urusera later during the election. Meanwhile, Von Nurnberg attracted the support of numerous lordions, mortei, non-Uingffhians, and other members of minority groups fearful of the effects Operation 1241 a.r.k. might have on their rights and livelihoods. Neidon Galileo Kaywell, the other discoverer of Izlondia's life seeding, came to endorse Von Nurnberg while traveling the stars and meeting with various non-Uingffhians about fir discovery.

Despite Von Nurnberg and Neidon's best efforts, the Imperial Traditionalists ultimately scored a landslide victory in the 1241 a.r.k. election, maintaining control over both cathedrals of the Kesslerim while installing Siddalee Von Urusera as highmost minister. With the entire Kaywellian government now under the Imperial Traditionalists' control, Operation 1241 a.r.k. was finally put into fruition, beginning Kaywell's transformation into an imperial kingdom.

Imperial Kaywell's first few years - the '''Holy Seedling Age''' - saw the nation violently invade and establish control over Uingffh and later the entirety of Uingffh. Additionally, it was during the Holy Seedling Age that Imperial Kaywell established its extreme traditionalist politics and culture via the process of Imperialization.

Numerous influential Kaywellian figures, including Third Princess Urlum, had begun spreading propaganda-like messages calling for the Kingdom to subjugate all of Uingffh under its rule in order to ensure that the Uingffhians received their "rightful" prosperity. To this end, the Kesslerim raised large amounts of funding towards Kaywell's already-bloated military and arms manufacturing budgets, including towards an experimental space weaponry program, in seeming preparation for large-scale attacks against other Uingffhian nations.

Notably, the Kingdom of Kaywell grew its military not by increasing taxes on its citizens, but rather by diverting funds from its welfare, education, and healthcare budgets. This proved successful for Kaywell's intended purpose of growing the military. This move also had little effect on the overall quality of Kaywellian healthcare and education, whose private sectors maintained a high standard of quality. The group that ultimately suffered from this move was the poor and working-class, who found access to basic essentials like schooling and healthcare increasingly restricted as private interests hiked prices on such services and military spending rendered public services nearly nonexistent. Apathetic attitudes from Kaywellian expansionists and Uingffhian supremacists, who applied Social Darwinist principles to Kaywellian economics by blaming the poor's own lack of merit for their own poverty, only worsened the poor's living conditions.

In response, the recently-crowned Ring Shol Limnel Kaywell finally expressed fir public support for a new Kaywellian imperialism alongside the Kesslerim. In this speech, later dubbed the Declaration of Imperation, the Ring announced fir intention to invade/declare war against all other nations on Uingffh and assert the dominance of Kaywell and the Uingffhians across as much area as possible. Around the same time, the Imperial Traditionalist-controlled Kesslerim passed acts officially replacing the Glass Angels with the loyal Twelve Azaleas as the elite guards of Kaywell. Meanwhile, the four chivalric orders activated Sriteria Industries' '''Syanthae Barriers''' over Uingffh as well as all wormhole gates in the Ingffhaestian System, preventing the Interstellar Consortium from intervening in Ingffhaestian affairs.

The Declaration of Imperation marked the official beginning of the '''Second Age of Imperium'''. Under the command of the more moderate Imperial Traditionalists, Imperial Kaywell launched devastating ground invasions of the other Uingffhian nations using its Izlondian artifact-enhanced military. With an immense numerical, strategic, and technological advantage, Imperial Kaywell successfully conquered Bagyo, Liyres, Nerusgol, Kelargar, and Jebellion. However, in late 2022, the surviving non-Kaywellian military forces and various anti-Kaywellian rebels (e.g. Alpha Canum Venaticorum, Blair Citadel, Gaelia Gerolaze) banded together into the '''Uingffhian Liberation Front (ULF)'''. Effective strategies and tactics allowed the ULF to liberate Liyres, Jebellion, Kelargar, Bagyo, and the Prim Gulf islands.

====Decree of Coalescence====
It was also during the Second Age of Imperium that Imperial Kaywellian diplomats secretly engaged in diplomacy with the '''Kadantii''' - a physically imposing, self-healing, intelligent reptilian species. The Kadantii homeworld of Kalaiia was notably rendered uninhabitable and later destroyed by the expansion of its parent star, Arctorius, into a red giant; though they were eventually granted refuge in the Interstellar Consortium, the Kadantii expressed dismay towards Polyingffh due to heavy war reparations, high rates of discrimination, and - most importantly - their relocation to another star system which also featured a central star soon to expand into a red giant. Seeking to take advantage of the species' warrior prowess, Urlum Eudae Kaywell offered the Kadantii to join Imperial Kaywell in exchange for better treatment (most notably relocation to a younger star system) and a high status in Kaywellian society, being exempt from the nation's Uingffhian supremacist laws. The Kadantii ultimately accepted via the passage of the '''Decree of Coalescence''', though stressed that their alliance was only one of pragmatism; the Third Princess accepted these terms, given that her own allyship with the Kadantii was also motivated by simple pragmatism.

With Imperial Kaywell's conventional forces falling back, the ULF gaining traction, and the Interstellar Consortium at last launching a counterattack, the more radical Imperial Traditionalists seized control of the war efforts and put the Homelander Operation into motion.

[[Great Coppelian Winterfest]]), the 31 total Ars Vesalum impact cathedrals of the Imperial Kaywellian Orbital Knights entered Uingffhian orbit. The 12 impact cathedrals of the Twelve Azaleas and 3 impact cathedrals from the Nineteen Azdes then proceeded to impact the capitals of all non-Kaywellian Uingffhian nations as well as major population centers experiencing significant resistance against Imperial Kaywell. The Uingffh Liberation Front and its member nations utilized a variety of methods and weaponry to halt the impact cathedrals' advance, but to no avail; Kaywell had equipped the Ars Vesalums with even more advanced Syanthae Barriers and Izlondian technology immune to most conventional Uingffhian weaponry. Meanwhile, governments ordered their citizens to take shelter in designated underground evacuation centers or to move as far away from projected impact sites as possible.

However, Kaywell's four chivalric orders of Grand Admirals quickly intervened and technologically, tactically, and strategically outmatched the Polyingffhian fleets despite Kaywell's numerical disadvantage. The Polyingffhian fleets were unfortunately forced to fall back, with Uingffh itself being considered lost to Imperial Kaywell.

In an instant, the shockwaves burned all life-forms within a 500 kilometer radius of each impact epicenter, wiped out entire cities, generated tsunamis in nearby oceans, and threw gigantic amounts of debris into the air. The remaining 16 Ars Vesalums remained in low Uingffhian orbit as reserve forces in case the ULF's resistance proved too strong for the impact cathedrals on Uingffh to handle.

Ultimately, Kaywell would not need to utilize its reserved impact cathedrals, for the 15 main Ars Vesalums' efforts proved sufficient in destabilizing and eliminating the ULF and its member nations. The initial impacts successfully eliminated large portions of the affected enemy nations' governments. After the initial impacts, the Ars Vesalums on Uingffh entered a "moving castle" mode where they utilized float systems to achieve aerial mobility; using this mode, the impact cathedrals scoured their surrounding areas for any surviving government officials or ULF figures. They had completed this task by the end of 2025, with Kaywellian forces capturing and executing all remaining world leaders along with both Alpha Canum Venaticorum and Gaelia Gerolaze (however, Blair Citadel had escaped and regrouped with Polyingffhian forces). By then, an estimated 1 billion Uingffhians had died due to the war.

Posterity would come to know the 2025 violent impact cathedral invasion of Uingffh as the '''Second Apocalix'''. This is a reference to the First Apocalix, the apocalyptic event that led to the demise of the Izlondians; likewise, the Second Apocalix represented the demise of the "decadent" pre-Imperial Kaywell society of Uingffh.
===Imperialization and cultural blossoming (2019-2032)===
As Imperial Kaywell's military worked to bring Uingffh and the surrounding star systems under its control throughout the Holy Seedling Age and the first years of the Holy Flowering Age, politicians within Kaywell's borders prioritized recovering Uingffhian society (especially after the Second Apocalix) and adjusting Uingffh to its imperial rule. This so-called '''Imperialization of Uingffh''' would last over a decade and involve the establishment of Kaywellian principles across multiple areas of society - specifically, Uingffhian society's political, economic, and cultural/social facets.

Political imperialization consisted of Imperial Kaywell formally abolishing all existing Uingffhian governments as its current government asserted authority over the entirety of Uingffh. Most notably, the Imperial Traditionalists banned all non-Uingffhian individuals from participating in Kaywellian politics, transforming Kaywell into a herrenvolk democracy. Additionally, they dismantled all other Kaywellian political parties while illegalizing most forms of public protest. However, disagreements over the Second Apocalix's necessity caused the more radical Imperial Traditionalists to split off into a new, more extreme political party known as '''Kaywell First'''. Kaywell then settled into a two-party democracy between the Imperial Traditionalists and Kaywell Firsters. One other notable development was the formation of three new loyal ministries: the '''Imperial Ministry of Truth''' (which dealt with political propaganda and religion), the '''Imperial Ministry of Regret''' (which handled military matters, bridging the government with the four orders), and the '''Imperial Ministry of Mercy''' (which handled cultural propaganda and preservation). Aside from these changes, the basic parliamentary structure of Kaywell's government remained the same as before Siddalee's election, but the adjectives "holy" and/or "imperial" were added to the official names of all governmental bodies/organizations; for instance, the Kesslerim became the Holy Imperial Kesslerim.

Economic imperialization consisted of Imperial Kaywell dropping its Polyingffh-era welfare state in favor of a deregulated market economy adjacent to unregulated capitalism. The now-fully traditionalist Kesslerim dropped almost all economic regulations passed after the Age of Reform, including countless protections and benefits for laborers; as a whole, Imperial Kaywell restructured the economy to favor employers over employees. This allowed for exceptional growth in the economy, standards of living, technological advancement, and the success of companies like Sriteria Industries. However, economic imperialization came at the expense of Kaywellian workers (notably making up a majority of Kaywell's population), whose rights and treatment were degraded. Economic inequality grew drastically after Imperial Kaywell's rise, with working conditions/benefits for the lower class worsening as the Kaywellian upper class's lifestyles grew more luxurious and opulent.

Most importantly, social/cultural imperialization saw the revival of Kaywellian traditions and the codification of the Imperial Traditionalists' conservative beliefs into law. Imperial Kaywell worked to revitalize Kaywellian culture during imperialization, with high-ranking Kaywellians rebuilding cultural sites damaged by the Thriteria Crisis (e.g. the Fernozzle and Carykh Galleries) and sponsored shows of creativity (e.g. art shows, orchestral galleries, literature readings, etc.). This allowed Kaywell to experience the largest and most vibrant cultural blossoming since the Age of Contact, when Kaywell first encountered other stellar civilizations.

On the other hand, social imperialization also featured the Kesslerim passing numerous conservative-minded acts restricting the rights of minority groups - mostly non-Uingffhians, but also LGBTQ+ individuals, disabled individuals, mortei, and lordions. This culminated in Imperial Kaywell fully banning homosexuals, transgender people, and both mentally and physically disabled people from being alive. As a whole, Kaywellian culture blossomed, but also grew more conservative and intolerant, with rates of discrimination in the aforementioned minority groups significantly increasing. Art shows, music performances, and other cultural events grew increasingly hostile to minorities while prominent organizations like the four chivalric orders, large companies like Sriteria Industries, and cultural event caterers withdrew their public support of such marginalized groups.

===Holy Flowering Age (2025-2055)===
The '''Holy Flowering Age''' was one of two major long-lasting ages in Imperial Kaywell's history, entailing the imperial kingdom's violent conquest of the Interstellar Consortium and the sundering of countless worlds up until its disastrous encounter with the humans of Earth in 2055.

As part of the celebrations for Kaywell's 1248th Uingffhian year of existence, Emperioso Shol formally declared war on the rest of the Interstellar Consortium of Polyingffh, proclaiming the beginning of Imperial Kaywell's space conquests. At the same time, the Kesslerim declared the nation's intent to annihilate all stellar powers who "desecrated Izlondian holy artifacts" and refuse to submit to Kaywell and its culture. To this end, its politicians drafted '''Operation 1248 a.r.k.''', a follow-up initiative to Operation 1241 a.r.k. acting as a set of comprehensive plans to conquer the local stars.

The kingdom began by successfully securing control over the rest of the Ingffhaestian System, after which it mounted massive and relentless invasions of other stellar powers in the Interstellar Consortium. Though Polyingffh's forces fought back competently and valiantly, they ultimately proved no match for Imperial Kaywell's superior military technology (now rendered even more powerful by the integration of plundered ancient Izlondian technology) and the strategic prowess of the four holy orders' Grand Admirals. By the end of the Holy Flowering Age, Imperial Kaywell had secured control over a total of 50 star systems, with the Interstellar Consortium being reduced to scattered remnants.

Any stellar civilizations subjugated by the Imperial Kingdom of Kaywell were forced to either submit to the kingdom's xenophobic, ultraconservative, and theocratic culture, or face complete destruction. To this end, the Kaywellian Star Navy's four chivalric orders sundered countless non-Uingffhian species' homeworlds to the point of uninhabitability and left entire star systems lifeless. In extreme cases, Imperial Kaywell deemed some worlds such as [[Tristania/ATKAT AU|Tristania]] as too steeped in sin and "degeneracy" to be saved; such worlds were thus immediately orbitally bombarded without further negotiation, with their species' survivors being stripped of all political power on the interstellar stage and converted into lowly slaves under Uingffhian masters. On the other hand, some stellar powers that more readily complied with Kaywell's demands, such as the [[Kadantii]] or the [[Holy Thritanian Empire/ATKAT AU|Holy Thritanian Empire]], were afforded mercy; their planets avoided total destruction while their populations received reasonably high positions in the Nerus Korndelia sytem (albeit while remaining below the Uingffhians in rank).

Within Imperial Kaywell's borders, discrimination against other minority groups only grew even more rampant as well. Most notably, the kingdom, having outlawed all LGBTQ+ identities and practices during Imperialization, carried out countless genocides and massacres against homosexual and transgender individuals. In addition, with the adoption of Keliosity as a state religion, Imperial Kaywell carried out mass killings and deportations of those who refused to adopt the Keliostic faith. Both physically and mentally disabled people also faced extreme discrimination amidst the Interstellar Age of Imperium, being subjected to smaller-scale (but still severe) mass killings and deportations. Lordions and mortei experienced greater rates of bigotry and speciesism as well; though they retained their basic rights thanks to Kaywell's Uingffhian supremacist laws, the imperial kingdom's traditionalism nonetheless emboldened tabulon supremacists, who carried out countless hate crimes against lordion and morteus individuals while being treated rather leniently by Kaywellian judiciaries. Furthermore, the Kaywellian working class grew more and more oppressed as the Kesslerim granted even more power to the Grand Admirals and corporations.

All the while, Kaywellian culture continued to flourish during the first parts of the Interstellar Age of Imperium. Emboldened by the restoration of Kaywellian traditions, artists and other creatives significantly increased their output of artworks, plays, literary works, music, and other works of art. Two major cultural changes occurred; firstly, cultural works increasingly reflected Kaywell's growingly traditionalist political attitudes, with artworks adopting xenophobia and Kaywellian nationalism as central themes. Secondly, some forms of art dating back to the Izlondian Imbrialty, such as tyria (windmill/wind chime art) and iamagami (an origami-like art featuring the folding of triangular paper), were revived by the Imperial Kaywellians and enjoyed by citizens.

Additionally, due to more money being diverted to support the Kaywellian military in its conquests, artistic shows declined in their production value and sophistication. Lastly, the increasing demands of the Kaywellian upper class, particularly the Grand Admirals and corporations, left most Kaywellian citizens with too little time and money to spend on enjoying the kingdom's culture; they instead spent most of their money and time on simply surviving and procuring basic necessities. Nonetheless, economic inequality in Imperial Kaywell remained less extreme than wealth gaps in Osuwa prior to Polyingffh-era economic reforms.

After a period of wars and civil unrest, humanity had reorganized into the powerful and dictatorial '''Solar Sovereignty of Tellurius''', which took advantage of Izlondian artifacts within the Solar System to quickly grow into a fledgling interstellar power much like the Uingffhians themselves had.

However, wishing to take the threat of humanity seriously, Imperial Kaywell then sent starships from the other three orders, including numerous star crushers. The combined military might of the Holy Orders of Novus, Kerbos, Uris, and Sorellius quickly overwhelmed the Tellurian forces with their numbers, allowing Imperial Kaywell to score a decisive victory by conquering Alpha Centauri. Kaywellian ships then completely sundered all inhabited planets and moons in the Alpha Centauri System (including '''Nova Terra''', Tellurius' most populous and developed colony) while star crushers fired upon all three of Alpha Centauri's stars, sterilizing the system with superflares. Said rebels and remnants also attempted to negotiate with Tellurius itself, though Tellurius' relatively aggressive and authoritarian nature complicated that negotiations at first.

Kaywellian forces massacred their inhabitants before sundering the planets' moons and space stations. By September, Kaywell had annexed the fourth planet, Mars, thanks to the efforts of the Holy Order of Kerbos.

The Novus Order's ships initiated a partial sundering of the Earth while the Orbital Knights impacted key Earth cities with their impact cathedrals.

However, shortly before the climactic Battle of Earth, the Polyingffhian and Tellurian forces had struck a temporary, yet otherwise stable agreement to join forces against Imperial Kaywell. Their combined fleet then launched a surprise counterattack on the Kaywellian invasion fleet amidst the battle's early stages which notably claimed the life of Princess Hypatia. Shocked by the fifth princess's death, the Kesslerim and royal family hastily ordered the Kaywellian forces to retreat from the Earth after having the Order of Sorellius quickly eliminate the Polyingffhian fleet.

Deeming the Solar System too dangerous for further invasions attempts in the wake of Hypatia's death, Imperial Kaywell's forces ultimately eliminated all remaining Tellurian starships before using two Izlondian artifacts known as '''Garael''' and '''Garmisael''' to spread special amnestics across the Earth. This served to wipe humanity's memories of Uingffh specifically, eventually leading to Tellurius' collapse into a set of superpowers reminiscent of Earth's political landscape during the early 21st Century. Meanwhile, outside of the Earth, the Holy Orders of Kerbos, Uris, and Sorellius completed their retreat from the Solar System while the Order of Novus stayed to eliminate the last Polyingffhian rebel starships still in Sol. Afterwards, the Solar System was declared off-limits and quarantined from all Kaywellians; the only Uingffhian presence within the system was Grand Admiral '''Neprus Nerugol''', whom the Order of Novus appointed to secretly oversee the Earth's activities after the mass memory wipe and ensure that humanity did not pose a threat to Kaywell in the future.

On a larger scale, the Tellurius war revealed Imperial Kaywell as less infallible as it perceived itself to be. This caused Kaywellian nationalism to wane and anxiety to rise in more patriotic and conservative Kaywellian citizens. Meanwhile, it emboldened Kaywellian citizens more sympathetic to non-Uingffhians to attempt to create greater change within Kaywellian society and challenge the imperial kingdom's strict norms.

Following the end of the first Earth war, non-Uingffhian resistance increased substantially, especially in the former home systems of conquered stellar powers. Their Kaywellian overseers struggled to contain these revolts, leading to the loss of some star systems to rebels.

Most importantly, the Earth war and its aftermath stirred discontent amongst the Kaywellian Grand Admirals and their supporters for a variety of reasons. Primary reasons included the relative lack of compensation they received from the Kesslerim and royal family for their war efforts, and said Kesslerim and royal family's perceived softness towards Polyingffhian remnant forces and other rebels. This would culminate with the initiation of the Warring Orders Period shortly after the end of the Tellurius War.
===Warring Orders Period/Holy Wilting Age (2056-2065)===
Beginning in 2056, tensions between the four chivalric orders' Grand Admirals and the Kesslerim and monarchy over the handling of the first Earth war escalated into a decade-long period of civil unrest known as the '''Warring Orders Period''', which is also sometimes referred to as the '''Holy Wilting Age'''. During this period, the four orders first rebelled against the Kesslerim and monarchy; afterwards, the four orders began fighting against each other.

The Warring Orders Period can be divided into two phases; the first phase, which lasted until roughly 2060, consisted of the four orders and their supporters carrying out violent riots against government agencies. Kaywellian military officers stormed numerous government buildings including the Kesslerim building and the Korroway Imperial Palace themselves, leading to small-scale but major losses of property and life. Though the Kesslerim and monarchy were not completely abolished, the Grand Admirals limited their power and replaced (or in extreme cases, outright killed) many officials and politicians with their supporters. Outside of Uingffh, civil unrest also occurred in and around the capitals of Kaywell's many interstellar colonies, whose populations more fervently supported the four orders. This phase ultimately solidified the Kaywellian Star Navy's Grand Admirals as the most powerful individuals in the Imperial Kingdom.

During the second phase, which lasted until 2065, disputes begin to arise between the four orders over how to distribute and execute their authority. This intensified older rivalries between the holy orders (particularly the rivalry between the holy orders of Sorellius and Novus), quickly escalating into the four orders combatting each other as they vied for power. However, within Kaywell's borders, the second phase was less destructive than the first phase; it played out not as full-fledged battles and riots in populated areas, but rather a long series of controlled, planned, but nonetheless highly competitive duels between Grand Admirals. Grand Admirals from different orders held pre-planned kaelum and starship battles away from populated areas in order to prove their battle prowess and capacity to rule the Imperial Kingdom. Said duels were notably often assisted by non-Uingffhian sentients serving higher-ranking Uingffhians within the four orders, setting a precedence for the changes in their treatment that would come after the Warring Orders Period's ending.
====The Holy Order of Sorellius destroys Novus Uingffhaestia and the Grice System====

In addition to holding premeditated duels and battles, the four orders and their Grand Admirals also proved their worth by suppressing and defeating anti-Kaywellian rebel forces, which had increased greatly in number in the wake of the Earth war's conclusion.

Fleets led by Grandmaster '''Serrette rei Sorellius''' defeated the Grice System's defending ships with ease, forming their own defensive line to prevent other orders like the Order of Novus from intervening while also capturing and torturing various Polyingffhian refugees. Meanwhile, Grand Admiral '''Norland rei Luneberg''' personally attacked the Polyingffh remnants' primary world of '''Novus Uingffhaestia''' (side note: the 'Novus' in its name refers to a Uingffhian word for 'new', not the Holy Order of Novus). rei Luneberg and his forces proceeded to destroy countless settlements and exterminate numerous civilians, among them '''Lidia Marina Nidaros''', the last surviving Glass Angel from Polyingffh-era Kaywell. rei Luneberg and Grandmaster Serrette concluded their operation by completely sundering all terrestrial planets and habitable moons in the Grice System, engraving the Sorellius Order's insignia on all of their surfaces.

With the vast majority of Polyingffhian politicians and military figures having died in the sundering of Grice, too few Polyingffhian individuals existed to properly restore the pre-Imperial Kaywell Interstellar Consortium ever again. Grice's destruction also meant that the surviving non-Uingffhian sentient populations now solely consisted of slaves and servants toiling under Imperial Kaywell's tabulon masters. Within Kaywell itself, meanwhile, Grice's destruction allowed the Holy Order of Sorellius to heavily increase its public favor and political influence amidst repeated moves by the Holy Order of Novus to claim Sorellius' position as the most powerful order in the Imperial Kingdom. Norland and Serrette's successful elimination of Polyingffh proved their worth as Grand Admirals to the rest of the nation. Nonetheless, it did not stop the Novus Order from continuing to increase its power and influence in smaller ways.

The Warring Orders Period effectively ended in 2065, with order restoring to both the Kaywellian citizenry and the government. By then, the Grand Admirals of the four holy orders had risen as the de facto leaders of the Imperial Kingdom, manipulating and lobbying both the monarchy and the Kesslerim to their needs. However, political power was decentralized and distributed between each of the admirals, who acted similarly to feudal lords who claimed individual star systems as their domains; as such, the newly-established '''Grand Admiralty''' was more comparable to a Japanese shogunate than a typical military dictatorship.

The Holy Order of Sorellius maintained its historical position as the most powerful order, with its Grand Admirals wielding the most influence; notably, Norland rei Luneberg ascended as its new Grandmaster for his efforts in destroying the Grice System. However, the Holy Order of Novus existed as a powerful rival to the Order of Sorellius, challenging its influence and poised to steadily amass more power. As for the other two orders, they remained relatively the same in power, but experienced internal changes. The Holy Order of Kerbos grew stricter and less forgiving, likely due to the death of Kirlim rei Kerbos in the Tellurius War, which afflicted Grandmaster Kelaris rei Kerbos with significant grief. Meanwhile, the Holy Order of Uris became slightly more powerful, but would see its power wane over succeeding years as the Order of Novus' influence grew.

===Holy Fruiting Age (2065-2099)===
The rise of the Grand Admiralty marked the end of the Warring Orders Period and the beginning of the '''Holy Fruiting Age''', the second major era in Imperial Kaywell’s history. With the Grand Admirals in control of the nation, numerous changes occurred in Kaywellian society.

The Holy Fruiting Age was primarily defined by a shift in Kaywellian culture towards pragmatism, science, and technology as the Grand Admirals desired to better prepare their nation against threats like the human race. To this end, increased the funding and influence of the military, scientists, and corporations. Though the four orders never explicitly diverted money and influence from the arts, many Kaywellian citizens nonetheless felt that their love for the arts and culture clashed with the four orders’ desire for pragmatism. This would become especially apparent in later years, when the aforementioned scientists and corporations began releasing artificial intelligences capable of generating artwork, video footage, music, writing, etc. As a whole, aside from a brief cultural blossoming at the beginning of the Holy Fruiting Age, Kaywellian culture during this period was widely viewed as stagnant and in decline.

Political changes occurred as well, both within the four orders and outside of them. With most parliamentarians including the Highmost Minister rendered powerless puppets under the Grand Admirals, turnout for Kesslerim elections plummeted, with the amount of voting citizens dropping below 10% in some years. Bureaucratization increased, with the four orders establishing four new ministries: the '''Imperial Ministry of Fate''' (which handled the logistics of space exploration and colonization), the '''Imperial Ministry of Destiny''' (which assumed the Ministry of Truth's religious duties), the '''Imperial Ministry of Love''' (which handled the punishment and torturing of dissidents), and the '''Imperial Ministry of Peace''' (which dealt with arms production and the military-industrial complex). As for the monarchy, royals only maintained relevance through the actions of royal Grand Admirals like Urlum Eudae Kaywell (who functioned both as the Third Princess and the Grandmaster of the Holy Order of Novus) and the ceremonial authority of Ring Shol Limnel Kaywell in appointing new Grand Admirals.

Within the four orders, the most notable change was the Holy Order of Novus' gradual rise in power, eventually becoming the most powerful chivalric order in Kaywell during the Holy Fruiting Age's later years. Grand Admiral Urlum Eudae Kaywell's many strategic and tactical exploiters played a major role in the Novus Order's rise. Some changes occurred in the internal structure of the orders as well. Initially, their Grandmasters refrained from directly exerting political power, instead acting as teachers and mentors to the Grand Admirals and other military officers ranking below them. However, following the rise of Urlum Eudae Kaywell as the Grandmaster of the Order of Novus, Grandmasters began assuming more direct leadership roles, with the responsibilities of teaching instead falling upon retired Grandmasters. Meanwhile, as mentioned before, the Grand Admirals themselves began assuming control of individual star systems, converting them into feudal domains where their subordinates resided.

The lives of non-Uingffhians also changed considerably and complexly; for instance, their treatment worsened outside of the Imperial Kingdom's borders as Kaywell began recapturing the star systems it lost during the Warring Orders Period. The Grand Admirals were much less forgiving to star systems and civilizations that rebelled after the war with Tellurius, utilizing more brutal and destructive strategies against them. Planets that were only partially sundered by Imperial Kaywell during the Holy Flowering Age saw their destructions completed by Holy Fruiting Age Kaywell.

Meanwhile, the lives of non-Uingffhians already living within Imperial Kaywell as slaves saw both improvements and degradations. Most notably, as part of the Grand Admirals' push for pragmatism, the Morality Police and the seven ministries significantly tightened enforcement of the Nerus Korndelia caste system. Because of this, non-Uingffhian servants found it much more difficult to revolt against the Imperial Kingdom. However, the change also allowed high-ranking non-Uingffhians to properly assume their high-ranking duties with minimal interference, in contrast to earlier periods where Uingffhian masters would ignore their status and abuse them anyway. Competition between species/castes also became encouraged, which lessened the likelihood of rebellion even further due to the species instead focusing on winning their Grand Admirals' favor.
====Norland’s Rebellion====
[[File:Korroway riots 2.PNG|thumb|Korroway falls under attack by Norland rei Luneberg's forces.]]Shortly after being inaugurated as the Grandmaster of the Holy Order of Sorellius in 2065, Norland rei Luneberg betrayed Kaywell and initiated a sudden, large-scale attempted attack on the Imperial Kingdom. Ships in his fleet attempted to bombard Uingffh from orbit while his klieses attempted to attack and seize control of a few other important worlds in the vicinity of the Ingffhaestian System. This marked the beginning of '''Norland's Rebellion'''.

On a live transmission to all star systems, the Grandmaster of Sorellius revealed his support of {{w|Misanthropy|misanthropy}} and confessed that Imperial Kaywell's destructive acts caused him to develop an intense hatred and mistrust of sentient life. He wished to dismantle Imperial Kaywell via Uingffh's destruction, and then force all other stellar powers under his rule to ensure that no Kaywell-like regime ever rose again. rei Luneberg also planned on wiping out other species with violent histories, such as the Xylmethystas, Galdnoans, Ascans, and Kadantii.

[[File:Uzziel Zudoor.PNG|thumb|Uzziel Zudoor, the Florania rebel responsible for defeating Norland rei Luneberg.]]Ultimately (and rather ironically), Norland's attempted coup was thwarted by [[Uzziel Zudoor]], a member of the [[Florania/ATKAT AU|Florania]] species and an anti-Kaywell rebel. After having her ships grant the rest of the Grand Admirals enough time to launch a counterattack, Uzziel herself boarded Norland's flagship and dueled the Sorellius Grandmaster, ultimately emerging victorious and slaying Norland. Uzziel then broadcasted messages of hope to the stars, urging both non-Uingffhian rebels and sympathetic Uingffhian citizens to continue fighting for a better future and not to lose faith in sentient life like the late Grandmaster of Sorellius did.

In the direct aftermath of Norland's Rebellion, Uzziel and her forces ultimately escaped before Imperial Kaywellian forces could capture them. With Norland dead and disgraced, Serrette rei Sorellius was forced to come out of retirement and resume her duties as the Grandmaster of the Holy Order of Sorellius. Damages and deaths on Uingffh itself were thankfully not catastrophic, but were still significant nonetheless, with numerous cities including Korroway itself requiring government aid.

On a broader scale, Norland's Rebellion incurred changes amongst both Uingffhians and non-Uingffhians. Within Kaywell's government, the attempted coup became one of the primary factors behind the Holy Order of Novus' eventual rise as the most powerful order in the Imperial Kingdom. Norland's Rebellion not only sowed distrust of the Sorellius Order amongst Kaywellian citizens, but also disrupted the internal stability of the Sorellius Order itself, with Grandmaster Serrette being forced to handle the fallout of the rebellion against her will. This caused Kaywell-supporting citizens to instead idolize the Holy Order of Novus, whose Grand Admirals - particularly Third Princess Urlum Eudae Kaywell, who soon rose as the Novus Order's Grandmaster - played major roles in stopping Norland. Meanwhile, outside of the government, Uzziel Zudoor's actions and messages of hope emboldened both non-Uingffhians and sympathetic Kaywellian citizens to continue fighting to change Imperial Kaywell's oppressive policies. Rebellions would continue to pose a constant threat to Kaywell's stability until culminating with Fortunato's Rebellion in 2099.

However, as a dynamic nation, Kaywell's culture has also experienced major shifts throughout its history in response to political and social developments.

Kaywellian society features a heavy emphasis on the arts and sciences; artists, musicians, and writers are some of Kaywell's most respected professions outside of the government, military, and aristocracy. Creative endeavors such as drawing, painting, sculpting, writing, composing, partaking in theatrical productions, and other forms of art unique to Uingffh were held sacrosanct and had vibrant presences across Kaywell. Such creative works are often driven by a cultural belief known as '''Oyiku''', which entails living for the sake of a grander purpose, a future goal, or a past legacy (as opposed to living in the moment). Kaywell is also notably home to many of the stars' most prestigious universities, which output hefty amounts of research studies and projects by their many scholars. However, science, technological, and engineering professions are also highly popular amongst Kaywellian citizens and students.

Imperial Kaywell is also a deeply xenophobic, conservative, traditionalist, and patriotic nation, in stark contrast to the high social progressivism of pre-imperial Kaywell and the Interstellar Consortium. As a herrenvolk nation, Uingffhian supremacy and discrimination against other sentient lifeforms are heavily prevalent in all facets of Kaywellian society, with most non-Uingffhians being reduced to mere slaves under Kaywell's reign. Homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and other forms of bigotry are also highly virulent in the Imperial Kingdom, with such individuals facing the death penalty for simply existing. Kaywellian conservatism and traditionalism also manifest more broadly as exceedingly strict social and cultural norms even Uingffhians must follow. Owing to its emphasis on culture and art, Kaywell expects its citizens to rigidly adhere to its cultural customs or face social isolation or even persecution by the Imperial Morality Police. Nationalism is also highly prevalent and connected to the kingdom's speciesism, with society holding Imperial Kaywell as a superior nation much like it holds the Uingffhians as superior species.

Despite its staunch traditionalism, Imperial Kaywell boasts a highly individualist culture as well. However, the nation was also heavily involved in the colonization of various other star systems including Altaria and Thrawn; though such star systems were legally controlled by the broader Polyingffhian federal government, they contained substantial Kaywellian populations as well as Kaywell-dominated cultures, prompting many scholars to consider them de facto territories of Kaywell. The kingdom's capital was the city of [[Korroway/ATKAT AU|Korroway]], located on the moon [[Uingffh/ATKAT AU|Uingffh]] in the [[Ingffhaestian System/ATKAT AU]], and its dominant species were Uingffh's three native sentient species: the tabulons, lordions, and mortei.

As the longest-lasting nation known to Uingffhian records, Kaywell had a long and significantly complex history. The Kingdom formed on the moon Uingffh on November 14, 999 when a trio of tabulons named Otho, Gauss, and Nero Kaywell united the region's various small warring kingdoms under their reign in the Unification War. Seating themselves as the newly-formed Kaywellian Kingdom's royal family, Otho, Gauss, and Nero steadily developed their nation's economy and society. Within two centuries, Kaywell had grown into a prosperous kingdom with a thriving economy and a rich culture. By the rise of the 13th Century, the Kingdom of Kaywell had begun to develop imperialist ideologies and began a program of expansionism across Uingffh, which proved highly successful; by the 1500s, Kaywell had gained control of all parts of Uingffh. Shortly after, however, indigenous rights movements, internal disputes, and other factors caused parts of this "Holy Kaywellian Empire" to begin collapsing; the nation ultimately lost control of all of its colonies, which rebelled and seceded into 11 other nations. These nations forced Kaywell to pay various reparations for the atrocities it committed against other cultures during its first imperial era and permanently recognize the other nations' sovereignty. After the end of its first imperial era, Kaywell and the other 11 Uingffhian nations formed a union - the Council of Nations. Within Kaywell, reformist politicians inspired by the former colonies' revolutions transformed Kaywell into a highly progressive, egalitarian, and advanced parliamentary nation over the course of a few centuries while also working to dismantle any Kaywellian societal systems connected to imperialism.

Eventually, in 1776, Kaywell discovered ruins connected to an ancient alien civilization known as [[Izlondia]]; it and the other Uingffhian nations used advanced technological artifacts in the ruins to quickly achieve spacefaring status and faster-than-light travel. Within a century, they encountered various other stellar civilizations, and Kaywell played a major role in facilitating Uingffh and the other civilizations' unification into the progressive, decentralized Polyingffhaestian Federation. Kaywell remained a key power in Polyingffh for the next few centuries, assisting in operations such as defusing conflicts between other stellar powers; due to its powerful spaceborne military, Kaywell was often used to quell armed conflicts and ensure that the civilizations of the stars maintained peace and order. Because of this, Polyingffh permitted the Kaywellian military to continue growing leading up to the 21st Century. During this time period, Kaywellian arts and culture also flourished immensely due to imported cultural ideas and goods from other alien civilizations; however, it and the rest of Uingffh notably remained more isolated than most other stellar powers in terms of immigration and culture.

In 2016, the brown dwarf [[Thriteria]] disturbed the Ingffhaestian System's outer comet belts during a close passage, sending numerous comets on impact trajectories with various Ingffhaestian worlds and stations. Though Kaywell successfully prevented the larger impacts that would have led to loss of life, smaller impacts did damage various important Uingffhian cultural and economic assets. This sparked intense criticism from Kaywell's Imperial Traditionalist party: a prudish and reactionary party known for outwardly criticizing Kaywell for prioritizing non-Uingffhian rights and social justice over Uingffhian arts, culture, and economic prosperity. The Imperial Traditionalists only grew more fervent in their conservative endeavors throughout the next few years, leading to heated tension between them and Polyingffh's wider diverse and progressive culture.

These tensions culminated in 2019, when the Imperial Traditionalists used the Kaywellian populace’s dissatisfaction over cultural decline to score an overwhelming victory in the year’s prime ministerial election as well as control over both cathedrals of the Kesslerim. The Kingdom tended to prefer intellectual pursuits and encouraged art, music, creative writing, theater, gardening, and other forms of expression amongst its citizens, who enjoyed high-quality and rigorous education under the Kingdom's many public schools, colleges, and universities. Sports and other physical activities, though, were not marginalized, with most Uingffhians viewing them as essential for health, wellbeing, and overall happiness. The Kingdom of Kaywell's dominant religion was Keliosity, which revolves around the worship of the gas giant Coppelius, Uingffh's parent planet, as the deity Kelios; however, Kaywellian legislation encouraged religious tolerance and religious freedom.

As one of the most developed countries on Uingffh, Kaywell also ranked very highly in quality of life, economic prosperity, civil rights, political freedom, scientific advancement, healthcare, education, and other statistics. The Kaywellian parliament committed itself to the protection of civil liberties including the right to free speech, free press, same-sex marriage, gender affirming care, birth control, etc. In addition, Kaywell was renowned for its workers' rights, maintaining a strong welfare system, powerful labor unions, and comprehensive labor legislation; because of this, Kaywell was ranked highly in workplace satisfaction and happiness. Kaywell, however, had drawn criticism from civil rights advocates for its past as an imperial power, but the legislature had actively worked to both mend the damage wrought by its predecessors and to educate Kaywellian citizens on the past mistakes of the nation. Kaywell also attracted criticism from more conservative factions, who alleged that Kaywell prioritized social justice causes over economic growth and cultural integrity; the most radical of these factions would partake in the 2019 election and subsequent transformation of Kaywell into an interstellar imperial power.

Prior to Kaywell's formation, the region of Ulstonia it would come to inhabit (also called Kaywell) was home to several smaller kingdoms and warlord states locked in conflict. During the decade of the 980s, a trio of nobles - '''Otho rei Oronius''', '''Gauss rei Keyman''', and '''Nero rei Hadrian''' - began campaigning for a unification of the Kaywell region into a single kingdom, having lost many of their family members to wars between the micro-kingdoms. Over the next few years, the trio amassed numerous like-minded supporters who had also suffered under the kingdoms' many wars and armed conflicts; many of these supporters were soldiers and militiamen growing tired of fighting needless, protracted wars in the name of petty kingdoms.

By the end of the decade, support for Kaywellian unification - particularly from military-involved individuals - had grown substantially, with the trio of nobles enjoying the support of a body of soldiers rivaling the size of a large army. In 999, Otho, Gauss, and Nero finally put their plan into action and mounted an invasion of the Kaywellian micro-kingdoms using their many soldier supporters, beginning the '''War of Unity'''. Though the kingdoms had the advantage of combined territory, their refusal to work together led to their swift ends, which sometimes occurred at the hands of their own soldiers. In addition, many smaller villages welcomed the unity trio's occupation, themselves dissatisfied with the divided state of the region.

Because none of the three shared a sex (Otho was female, Gauss was male, and Nero was somale), the trio was able to marry each other and become the first members of the Kaywellian Royal Family; though the marriage merely constituted a political marriage and did not involve actual romantic or sexual feelings between the three individuals, the three monarchs succeeded in effectively ruling and managing the fledgling kingdom.

To celebrate the successful formation of Kaywell, the three monarchs chose to establish a new Uingffhian timekeeping era to commemorate the unification of the region: '''Ascension Ring Kaywellia''', or '''a.r.k.''' for short. The Earth year 999 would be designated 0 a.r.k., with succeeding Uingffhian years being denoted by greater numbers followed by "a.r.k." at the end. As Kaywell's influence spread later in its history, the a.r.k. system would become the standardized timekeeping system for all of Uingffh. Residents living under the newly-established Kaywell regime welcomed this changing, lauding the political stability and newfound peace it brought. The Royal Family's success in incurring economic growth only increased public support of them. Over the next few centuries, the Kaywellian economy continued to grow as a united Kaywellian culture began to emerge; Kaywellians adopted sophisticated lifestyles that focused on the arts (painting, creative writing, music, etc.), academics, and sciences. These opulent lifestyles, however, were largely restricted to aristocratic families such as those inheriting the nobiliary particle of "rei"; servants and the poor continued to languish under the same unsatisfactory living conditions they suffered under prior to Kaywell's formation.

Ever-growing businesses and corporations, which flourished under Kaywell's nascent capitalism, viewed imperialism as an opportunity to gain access to new resources and larger markets. Devout Keliosites also supported Kaywellian imperialism, seeking to convert foreigners to Keliosity. Some Kaywellians supported imperialism simply out of a curiosity about the rest of Uingffh.

Kaywell began by colonizing various islands off the shore of Kaywell, such as Kirbani Island, during the first half of the 13th Century. Afterwards, Kaywell carried out the conquest of the rest of the Ulstonian supercontinent, beginning with the Osuwa region to the northeast and completing its world-conquering endeavor by the start of the 15th century. The Kaywellian Empire spent the last century of its first imperial era conquering the various island continents surrounding Ulstonia, such as Liyres and Adrasteia. By 1556, Kaywell had secured control of the entirety of Uingffh save for Uveerius and Uopia, whose inhabitants fended off Kaywellian invasion attempts with their formidable militaries.

The Kaywellian military saw noticeable development during the First Age of Imperium. In addition to funding boosts and technological improvements, the military also saw significant reorganization; most notably, the rise of esteemed '''conquerators''' - particularly skilled military commanders and explorers who spearheaded the discovery and colonization of new Uingffhian lands. Additionally, Queen Sirona and the two other imperialist monarchs who reigned during the First Age - '''Mesmo Martius Kaywell''' and '''Rictell Sorges Kaywell''' - assembled four chivalric orders - the Orders of '''Kerbos''', '''Novus''', '''Uris''', and '''Sorellius''' - out of the most elite conquerators.

Infamously, Kaywell’s various conquests also severely harmed the native inhabitants of other Uingffhian regions, such as lordions, mortei, and even other tabulon peoples. As part of the colonization process. Kaywellian settlers expelled countless natives out of their rightful lands and claimed their homes as their own. In extreme cases, conquerators committed outright genocides and massacres against native peoples, which proved the case for most island civilizations Kaywell encountered.

Kaywell also affected natives and their lands in more indirect ways. Even in more tolerant colonies, natives suffered from high mortality rates due to Kaywellian settlers inadvertently importing Kaywellian diseases into both people and important food sources. Additionally, Kaywellian colonization often hurt the environment by introducing invasive Kaywellian species as well as through the use of unsustainable agricultural and manufacturing methods by Kaywellian industries.

===Age of Revolution (1556-1700)===

The nation had made significant progress in industrialization and was well on its way towards modernizing. Meanwhile, morale for Kaywellian tabulons was at an all-time high, with the Kingdom's planetary dominance inspiring powerful nationalism and patriotism.

However, the global Kaywell Empire would quickly prove unstable and fragile. Throughout succeeding years, the nation's politicians and leaders faced - and failed to succeed in - the task of managing all of its newly-acquired colonies and their many dissatisfied, oppressed natives. Various Kaywellian territories would attempt secede from the empire in opposition to various Kaywellian policies, simultaneously encouraging citizens within Kaywell to question Kaywellian social and political norms and push for reform within their own nation. Persevering in spite of even more forceful attempts by imperial Kaywellian officials to maintain order within their colonies, the revolutionaries' efforts ultimately culminated in the Empire losing practically all of its colonies to anti-imperialist revolutions. This era would come to be known as the '''Age of Revolution''', which also marked the end of the First Age of Imperium.

During the Age of Revolution, natives and sympathetic colonists instigated numerous armed rebellions against Kaywellian colonial authorities in the Morbidia, Osuwa, Liyres, Bagyo, Kelargar, Nerusgol, Jebellion, Great Bar, and Adrasteia colonies. Particularly intense combat took place in the Morbidia region, where lordion rebel '''Regalius Rilna Mortimer''' outsmarted technologically superior Kaywellian forces using his skills in commanding and strategy. He would ultimately form the socialist-adjacent Great Imperial Hegemony of Morbidia. Intense combat also occurred in Osuwa, where both natives and sympathetic Kaywellian colonists seceded into the Unified States of Osuwa. The other colonies ultimately formed into the Liyres Commonwealth, the Federative Republic of the Bagyo Isles, the Republic of Kelargar, the Nerusgol Union, the Jebellion Island city-state, the United Kingdoms of the Great Bar, and the Adrasteian Union.

====Korroway Riots of 1580 and the Formation of the Kesslerim====
The outbreak of the Osuwan Revolution and the adoption of democracy as Osuwa's governmental system inspired the Kaywellian populace to think more critically of the Kaywellian governmental system. Noticing and desiring the Osuwans' high political freedom, Kaywellian citizens began calling for the establishment of a more democratic system of government for the Kaywellian homeland. This led to the outbreak of numerous pro-democracy protests throughout the latter half of the 1570s.

These protests proved difficult to suppress due to their sheer size, eventually culminating in the '''Korroway Riots''' of October 16, 1580, when an estimated 12,000 democratic protesters attacked the Kaywellian palace in Korroway with the intent of removing the monarchy from power and establishing a democracy in its place. Though the protesters were ultimately driven away, they and the Kaywellian government soon attempted compromise solutions facilitated by government officials sympathetic towards the cause of democracy. Eventually, on December 25, 1580, King Rictell conceded to establish a democratically elected parliament - the '''Kesslerim''' - and shift his role into that of a constitutional monarch.

The Kesslerim initially adopted bicameral system consisting of a lower house (the '''Cathedral of the Common''') tasked with creating legislation and an upper house (the '''Cathedral of the Affluent''') tasked with checking legislation. The Cathedral of the Affluent notably consisted of nobles loyal to the crown, allowing nobles and royals to control the passage of laws to a degree. However, the monarchy and nobility's role in parliament would gradually subside throughout succeeding centuries as Kaywell continued to democratize and reform, though the Kesslerim would continue to exist as a bicameral legislature for the rest of Kaywell's history.

====Geptunia Revolution and Wexxian Age of Freedom====
Another major turning point in Kaywell’s political shift was the '''Geptunia Revolution''', which began with the ascension of Geptunia Sylandro Kaywell to the Aeonium Throne in early 1632. However, Geptunia proved to be a tyrannical and selfish ruler who pursued an overly luxurious lifestyle at the expense of the rest of Kaywell’s populace. This led to Geptunia’s swift ousting from the throne in 1633, which ended with Geptunia’s execution.

With Geptunia dead, her sister, the far more progressive '''Wexxia Sylandro Kaywell''', became queen. Contrary to Geptunia’s reign of despotism and terror, Wexxia drastically increased the liberties of Kaywell’s people and ushered in a new era marked by social progressivism and enhanced political freedom. Queen Wexxia and her parliament legalized same-sex relationships, promoted gender equality, dismantled the racist and speciesist societal systems of imperial-era Kaywell, and drastically diverted political power from nobles (whose role Wexxia reduced to a ceremonial one) to the general populace, among other things. The populace dubbed this time period the '''Wexxian Age of Freedom''' due to the numerous social and cultural advances during Queen Wexxia’s rule.

====Formation of the Council of Nations====
By the late 17th Century, the above-mentioned non-Kaywellian nations had formed a coalition known as the Council of Nations advocating for democracy and civil rights. In 1697, the Council pushed forth a treaty to Kaywell asking for the nation to officially relinquish control of its colonies and dismantle its Korndelia caste system in order to promote racial equality.

By then, Kaywell had accepted a new individual as its monarch: Queen Wexxia Sylandro Kaywell, who had taken the crown in 1634 after the Geptunian Revolution. In contrast to the views of the late Ring Mesmo Martius Kaywell, Wexxia was sympathetic towards non-Kaywellians and held no ill will against nations that had split from Kaywell; these views were shared by many Kaywellian citizens, themselves moved by indigenous civil rights movements. As such, Wexxia readily agreed to sign the Council of Nations' treaty less than a month later. The signage of this treaty marked the beginning of the Uingffhian modern era.

===Modernization (1650-1776)===
After the Age of Revolution, Kaywell and other Uingffhian nations had begun to modernize, with more advanced technologies such as electricity, wireless communication, etc. becoming more available to the average citizen. High-tech skyscrapers and cities came to accompany Kaywell's traditional buildings, palaces, and historical sites. Meanwhile, the Age of Freedom-era trend of progressivism and social equality continued; Among the reforms achieved were further protections for LGBTQ+ individuals, policies promoting racial and species equality in Kaywellian society, and improved accessibility for both disabled people and neurodivergent people. Most notably, egalitarian measures taken during the Wexxian Age of Freedom inspired the Kaywellian populace to push for more economic equality, gradually leading to Kaywell's transformation into a mixed economy, social democratic welfare state similar in nature to the Scandinavian countries on Earth; universal healthcare, public education, public transportation, and other reforms guaranteeing essential utilities paid by progressive tax rates.

Additionally, after the death of Queen Wexxia to a climate change-enhanced tropical cyclone that hit Korroway in 1699, Kaywell began to focus on minimizing its effects on the environment and relying on more eco-friendly infrastructure. Fossil fuel plants found themselves replaced by massive wind farms, geothermal power plants, experimental nuclear oower plants, and other renewable energy sources. Kaywell also aimed to decrease the environmental impact of its cities by further increasing funding for public transportation, catering to pedestrians, incorporating more native flora into its landscapes and architecture, and more.

Despite Kaywell's growing social progressivism, the Kingdom held on to its cultural roots and practiced its traditions in non-discriminatory ways. For instance, the four chivalric orders of Kaywell maintained their existence, but were demoted to more ceremonial roles and were often sent on charitable missions to areas negatively impacted by Kaywellian colonialism. Keliosity also remained prominent amongst the Kingdom’s citizens, though the Kesslerim passed laws preventing the use of the religion to justify bigotry.
====Early spacefaring====

Throughout the succeeding decades, Kaywell began building space stations around Coppelius, exploring nearby celestial bodies, and sending probes to farther reaches in the Ingffhaestian System.

It was during the early spacefaring era that Kaywell (and by extension, the Uingffhians as a whole) discovered the Ophisian civilization of Ibiridius and the Sheepilly civilization of Hevectavia. However, Kaywell and the other 11 Uingffhian nations would not readily interact with the Ophisians and Sheepillies until the beginning of their interstellar era, when Uingffh acquired better spacefaring technology allowing them to more easily travel to and from both civilizations’ homeworlds.
===Discovery of the Great Pit and the upper Izlondian Ruins (1776)===
On November 25, 1776, Kaywellian scientists exploring the upper reaches of the '''Great Pit''' - a large sinkhole located on an equatorial Uingffhian island - discovered the existence of extremely old, yet well-preserved ruins of a civilization whose architecture did not match that of any known civilizations. Further analysis and research of the ruins revealed their true source: an ancient intelligent civilization that had died out approximately 3 billion years ago. This civilization, named '''Izlondia''' according to its dominant species, the '''Drori''', had once controlled all of Uingffh and possibly all of Ingffhaestia and various outlying star systems before dying out in a catastrophic accident involving wormhole technology; it was this calamity, dubbed the First Apocalix, that had rendered their vast cities trapped underground.

The discovery of the Izlondians was the turning point in the evolution of the Uingffhian nations, Kaywell included, into advanced spacefaring powers. Knowledge of the Izlondians and the high likelihood of the existence of other alien civilizations in other star systems incited a strong desire in many Uingffhians to explore the stars beyond Ingffhaestia. Additionally, technological artifacts left behind in the Izlondian ruins provided Kaywell and the other nations with the necessary tools to develop their own spacefaring technology. After 1776, Kaywell and the rest of Uingffh entered the interstellar era.

===Development of interstellar travel (1776-1795)===
During the first few years of the interstellar era, Uingffh (led by Kaywell's space agencies) began developing the tools necessary for the transition to spacefaring status. Uingffh began designing and producing a variety of long-term, larger-scale space colonies and space stations. The Uingffhian nations also began partaking in moon, dwarf planet, and asteroid mining to fulfill the material needs for these spaceborne structures.

Most notably, Kaywell formed the '''Star Navy''' on December 6, 1780, and promptly began constructing a wide variety of starships intended for combat, anticipating numerous wars and conflicts during its conquest of the stars. In line with its emphasis on education, the Kingdom also began research into battle strategies and tactics in an outer space setting, training esteemed strategists and admirals with these battle plans. These commanders would become the Kingdom's '''Grand Admirals''', a new rank in the Star Navy whose members would become widely feared for their ruthlessly efficient strategies in starship combat. Kaywell also reinstated its four chivalric orders as military guilds for its Grand Admirals as well as established a secret fifth order - the '''Order of Apollyon''' - as a research institute dedicated to in-depth investigation and containment of Izlondian artifacts.

It should also be stressed that reverse engineering of Izlondian technology played an extremely significant role in the Uingffhians' rather fast progression into competent spacefaring powers. Leftover samples, blueprints, and data on Izlondian starships and their technology massively aided the Kaywellian Star Navy and other Uingffhian space militaries in quickly developing functional starships. Records on old Izlondian battles also helped inform Kaywell's tactical and strategic plans.
====Exploration of the Ingffhaestian Star System and the creation of the Thegasia Drives====

By the 1790s, Kaywell had phased away from spacefaring preparation and had begun to more fully explore the rest of their home star system, Ingffhaestia. Construction of settlements both in space and on other planetary surfaces dramatically increased as space grew into a major part of Kaywellian (and by extension, Uingffhian) citizens' lifestyles. Additionally, Kaywell began establishing relations with the Ibiridians and Sheepillies, in the process developing ear pod devices that allowed for the instantaneous translation of alien languages using brain waves.

Initially, exploration of Ingffhaestia was rather disorganized, which would have destructive consequences when the '''Ibiridius Crisis''' in 1793 between Osuwan and Morbidian ships nearly led to numerous debris impacts on Ibiridius, which were thankfully prevented by timely Kaywellian intervention. Kaywellian diplomats then averted further war and resolved the dispute through the subsequent '''Treaty of Ingffhaestian Settlement''', which designated the Ingffhaestian System as shared neutral territory while guaranteeing Ibiridius and Hevectavia independence as their own planetary powers. Afterwards, further spacefaring ventures became dominated by Kaywell, with the other 11 Uingffhian nations focusing on more localized spacefaring development.

One was the artificial star '''Kire''', which would later be used to terraform the ice moon Digrazia. But the most significant artifact discovered was the '''Thegasia Wormhole Gate''', a derelict wormhole generator that once connected Izlondian stellar colonies. Though the wormhole gate itself was offline at the time due to sustained damage from asteroid impacts and other natural factors, its inner technology remained intact enough for the Uingffhians to reverse-engineer into their own wormhole devices: the '''Thegasia Drives'''. These drives would concentrate surrounding interstellar matter into a wormhole, within which the drive can then generate an exit wormhole at any point in our universe within a specific range. At their time of creation, the drives had a range of four light-years, but the Kingdom would develop models with larger ranges in the future. The Kingdom promptly installed Thegasia drives onto most of its existing starships, completing this task by December 1799. This achievement of faster-than-light travel enabled Kaywell to begin conquering other star systems throughout succeeding centuries.

Wormholes generated by the Thegasia Drive notably contracted over time from Hawking radiation before exploding, with smaller wormholes dying faster than larger ones. This rendered wormhole travel impractical for individuals, but proved acceptable for the much larger starship. Many Kaywellian military scientists proposed using this explosion as a weapon - a proposal that would later become a reality with the creation of the Star Crushers during the 1816-1838 [[Three Great Offensives]].

The Grand Admirals often formed the forefront of interstellar colonization efforts and led massive starship fleet battles against opposing forces and civilizations. They also acted as competent temporary rulers, often overseeing recently conquered colonies during their first few years in order to quell any remaining dissent. As a whole, Kaywellian Grand Admirals were touted as the Kingdom's true greatest superweapons due to their exemplary use of clever tactics and strategies, which often proved sufficient to outwit even the most technologically powerful fleets and weapons. Grand Admirals were rather rare; prior to the Second Apocalix, only 37 Grand Admirals existed amongst the Star Navy's billions of officers.

The Grand Admirals were divided amongst four orders which each carried their own fleets, ships, troops, etc. They were the Orders of '''Uris''', '''Novus''', '''Kerbos''', and '''Sorellius'''; all four of them originally formed as chivalric orders of knights during the First Age of Imperium. Upon becoming Grand Admirals, individuals automatically earn the title of rei (but may decline to accept the rei nobiliary particle into their names) and are given the choice to join one of the four orders. A secretive fifth order, the Apollyonic Foundation, also existed for those heavily invested in Izlondian technological artifacts, though its members rejected traditional Star Navy titles like "Grand Admiral" due to their order's focus on research and containment rather than space combat.

Each order was managed by a special Grand Admiral known as a Grandmaster Admiral, who also led the training of new Grand Admirals (which tended to number 8-12 per order). Despite their leadership role, Grandmaster Admirals were not considered inherently superior to typical Grand Admirals, as their teaching roles included a responsibility to mold pupils into commanders superior to themselves. Because of this trait as well, Grandmaster Admirals were almost always much older than the rest of the members of the orders. An exception to this rule was the secret Order of Apollyon, which is led by a government-appointed individual called the Arbitrator instead.

The Order of Uris is most notable for its species diversity, accepting far more non-tabulon individuals than any other order; during Kaywell's spacefaring era, all Grand Admirals who served in the order were non-tabulons, and a significant portion of them were non-Uingffhian as well. The relatively low amount of military resources granted to Uris is sometimes cited as evidence for systemic speciesism in Kaywellian society; nonetheless, the Uris Order often compensated for this disadvantage by growing its Grand Admirals into particularly exceptional strategists. Its last Grandmaster Admiral was Shan Uris, a morteus; the last Grand Admirals in the Uris Order were Xanthe Rose (another morteus), the lordions Corantia lu Kerannia and Non Auler, the tristanian twin siblings Evanor and Rachellis Griffith, the Sartretarian lizard Hathagon rei Tyrannor, the nili Astraea rei Araceli, and the dezarmul Othossia rei Opalina.

The Order of Uris adopted blue as its signature color upon formation for two main reasons. For one, blue represented the Kyringffhian Ocean's waters, where the founding conquerators of the Uris Order (Shin Uriel Uris, Tychean rei Sheploup, and Liberius rei Elektra) conquered Liyres. Secondly, blue was the color of many of the mortei who complied with the colonization of the island continent. Fittingly, Grandmaster Uris, Sheploup, and Elektra would all show lenience towards not only mortei, but also loyal lordion nobles for their efforts in the Liyres war - the precedent for the Uris Order's culture of diversity that would persist throughout the rest of the order's lifespan.

The Kingdom of Kaywell's culture contained a blend of both modern progressivism (similar in nature to that of a Nordic country on Earth) and older aristocratic traditions unique to Kaywell. For one, Kaywell is generally very tolerant towards minority groups both within and outside of the Uingffhian species. Kaywell was noted for its vast amount of social reforms during and after its Age of Revolution era, pioneering advances in gender equality, LGBTQ+ rights, disability accommodations, etc. Kaywellian culture also upholds workers' rights and well-being, with the nation emphasizing the importance of humane treatment by employers, adequate breaks, and generally balancing one's professional and personal lives; however, the nation did practice socialist-like ideologies to the extent of the Morbidian Hegemony.

Even during Kaywell's most progressive eras, however, the nation's aristocracy and royalty maintained a strong presence in the Kingdom's culture. Even after class reforms greatly reduced the political power of Kaywell's nobles and royals, much the Kaywellian populace continued to pay the customary respects to the Kingdom's historic upper class. Likewise, however, the nobles and royals often carried out acts of philanthropy and other good or notable deeds in order to earn the respect they once commanded by birthright; for instance, many of [[Shol Limnel Kaywell]]'s children made their existence known by pursuing high-end careers in the military, science, or the arts. The Kaywellian imperial family was also the subject of frequent petty gossip amongst Kaywellian citizens, with exaggerated stories regarding the royals' personal lives (particularly their experiences with romance or careers) often appearing on Kaywellian news media.

Additionally, Kaywellian society was rather militaristic and patriotic, albeit in a different manner than in Morbidia and Osuwa. Though Kaywell's military was celebrated and upheld by the public, the nation's culture put a special emphasis on the commanders and strategists behind the battlefield, most notably the Grand Admirals of the four orders and the Glass Angels guarding the nation's most important individuals. This veneration of strategists likely stemmed from the nation's veneration of aristocrats, as many Kaywellian military elites were descended from Kaywellian noble families. Like Kaywell's royals, the Kaywellian Grand Admirals and Glass Angels were treated like celebrities in the Kingdom's culture; the public viewed them in high regard, but also often gossiped about them and showed a vested interest in their personal lives.

Kaywellian society also featured a heavy emphasis on education, science, and the arts; teachers, engineers, and artists were some of Kaywell's most respect professions outside of the government, military, and aristocracy. Kaywell was notably home to many of the stars' most prestigious universities, which outputted hefty amounts of research studies and projects by their many scholars. Science, technological, and engineering professions were also highly popular amongst Kaywellian citizens and students, much like in Osuwa; however, due to the nation's emphasis on greater class equity, a higher percentage of people preferred working for the Kaywellian government and smaller companies as opposed to larger corporations.

Though Kaywell had no state-sponsored religion during most of its pre-imperial era, '''[[Keliosity]]''' was by far the dominant religion in the Kingdom, with roughly 65% of its population practicing some form of the religion during the nation's interstellar era. Kaywell's population had the highest population of Keliostic worshippers of the three Uingffhian nations; however, Kaywell's Keliostics tended to practice their religion more moderately and progressively (in contrast to Osuwa, where Keliosity is less prevalent, but evangelical conservative Keliostics make up a very vocal minority). Nonetheless, Keliostics held major influence in Kaywellian politics and society, with the spread of the religion being one of the main justifications behind both of the country's expansionist eras.

Of the roughly 2.763 billion Keliostic worshippers on mainland Kaywell, the vast majority of them (86%) practiced Kaywellian Keliosity, which itself was founded by the Kingdom. 10% practiced Keliocentrism while the remaining 4% practiced Traditional Keliosity. However, the nation was also heavily involved in the colonization of various other star systems including Altaria and Thrawn; though such star systems were legally controlled by the broader Polyingffhian federal government, they contained substantial Kaywellian populations as well as Kaywell-dominated cultures, prompting many scholars to consider them de facto territories of Kaywell. The kingdom's capital was the city of [[Korroway/ATKAT AU|Korroway]], located on the moon [[Uingffh/ATKAT AU|Uingffh]] in the [[Ingffhaestian System/ATKAT AU]], and its dominant species were Uingffh's three native sentient species: the tabulons, lordions, and mortei.

As the longest-lasting nation known to Uingffhian records, Kaywell had a long and significantly complex history. The Kingdom formed on the moon Uingffh on November 14, 999 when a trio of tabulons named Otho, Gauss, and Nero Kaywell united the region's various small warring kingdoms under their reign in the Unification War. Seating themselves as the newly-formed Kaywellian Kingdom's royal family, Otho, Gauss, and Nero steadily developed their nation's economy and society. Within two centuries, Kaywell had grown into a prosperous kingdom with a thriving economy and a rich culture. By the rise of the 13th Century, the Kingdom of Kaywell had begun to develop imperialist ideologies and began a program of expansionism across Uingffh, which proved highly successful; by the 1500s, Kaywell had gained control of all parts of Uingffh. Shortly after, however, indigenous rights movements, internal disputes, and other factors caused parts of this "Holy Kaywellian Empire" to begin collapsing; the nation ultimately lost control of all of its colonies, which rebelled and seceded into 11 other nations. These nations forced Kaywell to pay various reparations for the atrocities it committed against other cultures during its first imperial era and permanently recognize the other nations' sovereignty. After the end of its first imperial era, Kaywell and the other 11 Uingffhian nations formed a union - the Council of Nations. Within Kaywell, reformist politicians inspired by the former colonies' revolutions transformed Kaywell into a highly progressive, egalitarian, and advanced parliamentary nation over the course of a few centuries while also working to dismantle any Kaywellian societal systems connected to imperialism.

Eventually, in 1776, Kaywell discovered ruins connected to an ancient alien civilization known as [[Izlondia]]; it and the other Uingffhian nations used advanced technological artifacts in the ruins to quickly achieve spacefaring status and faster-than-light travel. Within a century, they encountered various other stellar civilizations, and Kaywell played a major role in facilitating Uingffh and the other civilizations' unification into the progressive, decentralized Polyingffhaestian Federation. Kaywell remained a key power in Polyingffh for the next few centuries, assisting in operations such as defusing conflicts between other stellar powers; due to its powerful spaceborne military, Kaywell was often used to quell armed conflicts and ensure that the civilizations of the stars maintained peace and order. Because of this, Polyingffh permitted the Kaywellian military to continue growing leading up to the 21st Century. During this time period, Kaywellian arts and culture also flourished immensely due to imported cultural ideas and goods from other alien civilizations; however, it and the rest of Uingffh notably remained more isolated than most other stellar powers in terms of immigration and culture.

In 2016, the brown dwarf [[Thriteria]] disturbed the Ingffhaestian System's outer comet belts during a close passage, sending numerous comets on impact trajectories with various Ingffhaestian worlds and stations. Though Kaywell successfully prevented the larger impacts that would have led to loss of life, smaller impacts did damage various important Uingffhian cultural and economic assets. This sparked intense criticism from Kaywell's Imperial Traditionalist party: a prudish and reactionary party known for outwardly criticizing Kaywell for prioritizing non-Uingffhian rights and social justice over Uingffhian arts, culture, and economic prosperity. The Imperial Traditionalists only grew more fervent in their conservative endeavors throughout the next few years, leading to heated tension between them and Polyingffh's wider diverse and progressive culture.

These tensions culminated in 2019, when the Imperial Traditionalists used the Kaywellian populace’s dissatisfaction over cultural decline to score an overwhelming victory in the year’s prime ministerial election as well as control over both cathedrals of the Kesslerim. The new traditionalist government proceeded to enact an extreme shift in Kaywell's political policies, culminating in Kaywell’s exit from the Consortium and subsequent declaration of holy war against all other stellar powers, Due to the drastic and sudden change in Kaywellian society and culture, post-election Kaywell is referred to as the [[Imperial Kingdom of Kaywell]], with Polyingffh considering the original Kingdom of Kaywell to have officially fallen in 2019 with the nation’s departure from the Interstellar Consortium.

Kaywellian society was most notable for its focus on the arts, science, and culture. The Kingdom tended to prefer intellectual pursuits and encouraged art, music, creative writing, theater, gardening, and other forms of expression amongst its citizens, who enjoyed high-quality and rigorous education under the Kingdom's many public schools, colleges, and universities. Sports and other physical activities, though, were not marginalized, with most Uingffhians viewing them as essential for health, wellbeing, and overall happiness. The Kingdom of Kaywell's dominant religion was Keliosity, which revolves around the worship of the gas giant Coppelius, Uingffh's parent planet, as the deity Kelios; however, Kaywellian legislation encouraged religious tolerance and religious freedom.

As one of the most developed countries on Uingffh, Kaywell also ranked very highly in quality of life, economic prosperity, civil rights, political freedom, scientific advancement, healthcare, education, and other statistics. The Kaywellian parliament committed itself to the protection of civil liberties including the right to free speech, free press, same-sex marriage, gender affirming care, birth control, etc. In addition, Kaywell was renowned for its workers' rights, maintaining a strong welfare system, powerful labor unions, and comprehensive labor legislation; because of this, Kaywell was ranked highly in workplace satisfaction and happiness. Kaywell, however, had drawn criticism from civil rights advocates for its past as an imperial power, but the legislature had actively worked to both mend the damage wrought by its predecessors and to educate Kaywellian citizens on the past mistakes of the nation. Kaywell also attracted criticism from more conservative factions, who alleged that Kaywell prioritized social justice causes over economic growth and cultural integrity; the most radical of these factions would partake in the 2019 election and subsequent transformation of Kaywell into an interstellar imperial power.

Prior to Kaywell's formation, the region of Ulstonia it would come to inhabit (also called Kaywell) was home to several smaller kingdoms and warlord states locked in conflict. During the decade of the 980s, a trio of nobles - '''Otho rei Oronius''', '''Gauss rei Keyman''', and '''Nero rei Hadrian''' - began campaigning for a unification of the Kaywell region into a single kingdom, having lost many of their family members to wars between the micro-kingdoms. Over the next few years, the trio amassed numerous like-minded supporters who had also suffered under the kingdoms' many wars and armed conflicts; many of these supporters were soldiers and militiamen growing tired of fighting needless, protracted wars in the name of petty kingdoms.

By the end of the decade, support for Kaywellian unification - particularly from military-involved individuals - had grown substantially, with the trio of nobles enjoying the support of a body of soldiers rivaling the size of a large army. In 999, Otho, Gauss, and Nero finally put their plan into action and mounted an invasion of the Kaywellian micro-kingdoms using their many soldier supporters, beginning the '''War of Unity'''. Though the kingdoms had the advantage of combined territory, their refusal to work together led to their swift ends, which sometimes occurred at the hands of their own soldiers. In addition, many smaller villages welcomed the unity trio's occupation, themselves dissatisfied with the divided state of the region.

Because none of the three shared a sex (Otho was female, Gauss was male, and Nero was somale), the trio was able to marry each other and become the first members of the Kaywellian Royal Family; though the marriage merely constituted a political marriage and did not involve actual romantic or sexual feelings between the three individuals, the three monarchs succeeded in effectively ruling and managing the fledgling kingdom.

To celebrate the successful formation of Kaywell, the three monarchs chose to establish a new Uingffhian timekeeping era to commemorate the unification of the region: '''Ascension Ring Kaywellia''', or '''a.r.k.''' for short. The Earth year 999 would be designated 0 a.r.k., with succeeding Uingffhian years being denoted by greater numbers followed by "a.r.k." at the end. Residents living under the newly-established Kaywell regime welcomed this changing, lauding the political stability and newfound peace it brought. The Royal Family's success in incurring economic growth only increased public support of them. Over the next few centuries, the Kaywellian economy continued to grow as a united Kaywellian culture began to emerge; Kaywellians adopted sophisticated lifestyles that focused on the arts (painting, creative writing, music, etc.), academics, and sciences. These opulent lifestyles, however, were largely restricted to aristocratic families such as those inheriting the nobiliary particle of "rei"; servants and the poor continued to languish under the same unsatisfactory living conditions they suffered under prior to Kaywell's formation.

Ever-growing businesses and corporations, which flourished under Kaywell's nascent capitalism, viewed imperialism as an opportunity to gain access to new resources and larger markets. Devout Keliosites also supported Kaywellian imperialism, seeking to convert foreigners to Keliosity. Some Kaywellians supported imperialism simply out of a curiosity about the rest of Uingffh.

Afterwards, Kaywell carried out the conquest of the rest of the Ulstonian supercontinent, beginning with the Osuwa region to the northeast and completing its world-conquering endeavor by the start of the 15th century. The Kaywellian Empire spent the last century of its first imperial era conquering the various island continents surrounding Ulstonia, such as Liyres and Adrasteia. By 1556, Kaywell had secured control of the entirety of Uingffh save for Uveerius and Uopia, whose inhabitants fended off Kaywellian invasion attempts with their formidable militaries.

The Kaywellian military saw noticeable development during the First Age of Imperium. In addition to funding boosts and technological improvements, the military also saw significant reorganization; most notably, the rise of esteemed '''conquerators''' - particularly skilled military commanders and explorers who spearheaded the discovery and colonization of new Uingffhian lands. Additionally, Queen Sirona and the two other imperialist monarchs who reigned during the First Age - '''Mesmo Martius Kaywell''' and '''Rictell Sorges Kaywell''' - assembled four chivalric orders - the Orders of '''Kerbos''', '''Novus''', '''Uris''', and '''Sorellius''' - out of the most elite conquerators.

Infamously, Kaywell’s various conquests also severely harmed the native inhabitants of other Uingffhian regions, such as lordions, mortei, and even other tabulon peoples. As part of the colonization process. Kaywellian settlers expelled countless natives out of their rightful lands and claimed their homes as their own. In extreme cases, conquerators committed outright genocides and massacres against native peoples, which proved the case for most island civilizations Kaywell encountered.

Kaywell also affected natives and their lands in more indirect ways. Even in more tolerant colonies, natives suffered from high mortality rates due to Kaywellian settlers inadvertently importing Kaywellian diseases into both people and important food sources. Additionally, Kaywellian colonization often hurt the environment by introducing invasive Kaywellian species as well as through the use of unsustainable agricultural and manufacturing methods by Kaywellian industries.

===Age of Revolution (1556-1700)===

The nation had made significant progress in industrialization and was well on its way towards modernizing. Meanwhile, morale for Kaywellian tabulons was at an all-time high, with the Kingdom's planetary dominance inspiring powerful nationalism and patriotism.

However, the global Kaywell Empire would quickly prove unstable and fragile. Throughout succeeding years, the nation's politicians and leaders faced - and failed to succeed in - the task of managing all of its newly-acquired colonies and their many dissatisfied, oppressed natives. Various Kaywellian territories would attempt secede from the empire in opposition to various Kaywellian policies, simultaneously encouraging citizens within Kaywell to question Kaywellian social and political norms and push for reform within their own nation. Persevering in spite of even more forceful attempts by imperial Kaywellian officials to maintain order within their colonies, the revolutionaries' efforts ultimately culminated in the Empire losing practically all of its colonies to anti-imperialist revolutions. This era would come to be known as the '''Age of Revolution''', which also marked the end of the First Age of Imperium.

During the Age of Revolution, natives and sympathetic colonists instigated numerous armed rebellions against Kaywellian colonial authorities in the Morbidia, Osuwa, Liyres, Bagyo, Kelargar, Nerusgol, Jebellion, Great Bar, and Adrasteia colonies. Particularly intense combat took place in the Morbidia region, where lordion rebel '''Regalius Rilna Mortimer''' outsmarted technologically superior Kaywellian forces using his skills in commanding and strategy. He would ultimately form the socialist-adjacent Great Imperial Hegemony of Morbidia. Intense combat also occurred in Osuwa, where both natives and sympathetic Kaywellian colonists seceded into the Unified States of Osuwa. The other colonies ultimately formed into the Liyres Commonwealth, the Federative Republic of the Bagyo Isles, the Republic of Kelargar, the Nerusgol Union, the Jebellion Island city-state, the United Kingdoms of the Great Bar, and the Adrasteian Union.

====Korroway Riots of 1580 and the Formation of the Kesslerim====
The outbreak of the Osuwan Revolution and the adoption of democracy as Osuwa's governmental system inspired the Kaywellian populace to think more critically of the Kaywellian governmental system. Noticing and desiring the Osuwans' high political freedom, Kaywellian citizens began calling for the establishment of a more democratic system of government for the Kaywellian homeland. This led to the outbreak of numerous pro-democracy protests throughout the latter half of the 1570s.

These protests proved difficult to suppress due to their sheer size, eventually culminating in the '''Korroway Riots''' of October 16, 1580, when an estimated 12,000 democratic protesters attacked the Kaywellian palace in Korroway with the intent of removing the monarchy from power and establishing a democracy in its place. Though the protesters were ultimately driven away, they and the Kaywellian government soon attempted compromise solutions facilitated by government officials sympathetic towards the cause of democracy. Eventually, on December 25, 1580, King Rictell conceded to establish a democratically elected parliament - the '''Kesslerim''' - and shift his role into that of a constitutional monarch.

The Kesslerim initially adopted bicameral system consisting of a lower house (the '''Cathedral of the Common''') tasked with creating legislation and an upper house (the '''Cathedral of the Affluent''') tasked with checking legislation. The Cathedral of the Affluent notably consisted of nobles loyal to the crown, allowing nobles and royals to control the passage of laws to a degree. However, the monarchy and nobility's role in parliament would gradually subside throughout succeeding centuries as Kaywell continued to democratize and reform, though the Kesslerim would continue to exist as a bicameral legislature for the rest of Kaywell's history.

====Geptunia Revolution and Wexxian Age of Freedom====
Another major turning point in Kaywell’s political shift was the '''Geptunia Revolution''', which began with the ascension of Geptunia Sylandro Kaywell to the Aeonium Throne in early 1632. However, Geptunia proved to be a tyrannical and selfish ruler who pursued an overly luxurious lifestyle at the expense of the rest of Kaywell’s populace. This led to Geptunia’s swift ousting from the throne in 1633, which ended with Geptunia’s execution.

With Geptunia dead, her sister, the far more progressive '''Wexxia Sylandro Kaywell''', became queen. Contrary to Geptunia’s reign of despotism and terror, Wexxia drastically increased the liberties of Kaywell’s people and ushered in a new era marked by social progressivism and enhanced political freedom. Queen Wexxia and her parliament legalized same-sex relationships, promoted gender equality, dismantled the racist and speciesist societal systems of imperial-era Kaywell, and drastically diverted political power from nobles (whose role Wexxia reduced to a ceremonial one) to the general populace, among other things. The populace dubbed this time period the '''Wexxian Age of Freedom''' due to the numerous social and cultural advances during Queen Wexxia’s rule.

====Formation of the Council of Nations====
By the late 17th Century, the above-mentioned non-Kaywellian nations had formed a coalition known as the Council of Nations advocating for democracy and civil rights. In 1697, the Council pushed forth a treaty to Kaywell asking for the nation to officially relinquish control of its colonies and dismantle its Korndelia caste system in order to promote racial equality.

By then, Kaywell had accepted a new individual as its monarch: Queen Wexxia Sylandro Kaywell, who had taken the crown in 1634 after the Geptunian Revolution. In contrast to the views of the late Ring Mesmo Martius Kaywell, Wexxia was sympathetic towards non-Kaywellians and held no ill will against nations that had split from Kaywell; these views were shared by many Kaywellian citizens, themselves moved by indigenous civil rights movements. As such, Wexxia readily agreed to sign the Council of Nations' treaty less than a month later. The signage of this treaty marked the beginning of the Uingffhian modern era.

===Modernization (1650-1776)===
After the Age of Revolution, Kaywell and other Uingffhian nations had begun to modernize, with more advanced technologies such as electricity, wireless communication, etc. becoming more available to the average citizen. High-tech skyscrapers and cities came to accompany Kaywell's traditional buildings, palaces, and historical sites. Meanwhile, the Age of Freedom-era trend of progressivism and social equality continued; Among the reforms achieved were further protections for LGBTQ+ individuals, policies promoting racial and species equality in Kaywellian society, and improved accessibility for both disabled people and neurodivergent people. Most notably, egalitarian measures taken during the Wexxian Age of Freedom inspired the Kaywellian populace to push for more economic equality, gradually leading to Kaywell's transformation into a mixed economy, social democratic welfare state similar in nature to the Scandinavian countries on Earth; universal healthcare, public education, public transportation, and other reforms guaranteeing essential utilities paid by progressive tax rates.

Additionally, after the death of Queen Wexxia to a climate change-enhanced tropical cyclone that hit Korroway in 1699, Kaywell began to focus on minimizing its effects on the environment and relying on more eco-friendly infrastructure. Fossil fuel plants found themselves replaced by massive wind farms, geothermal power plants, experimental nuclear oower plants, and other renewable energy sources. Kaywell also aimed to decrease the environmental impact of its cities by further increasing funding for public transportation, catering to pedestrians, incorporating more native flora into its landscapes and architecture, and more.

Despite Kaywell's growing social progressivism, the Kingdom held on to its cultural roots and practiced its traditions in non-discriminatory ways. For instance, the four chivalric orders of Kaywell maintained their existence, but were demoted to more ceremonial roles and were often sent on charitable missions to areas negatively impacted by Kaywellian colonialism. Keliosity also remained prominent amongst the Kingdom’s citizens, though the Kesslerim passed laws preventing the use of the religion to justify bigotry.
====Early spacefaring====

Throughout the succeeding decades, Kaywell began building space stations around Coppelius, exploring nearby celestial bodies, and sending probes to farther reaches in the Ingffhaestian System.

It was during the early spacefaring era that Kaywell (and by extension, the Uingffhians as a whole) discovered the Ophisian civilization of Ibiridius and the Sheepilly civilization of Hevectavia. However, Kaywell and the other 11 Uingffhian nations would not readily interact with the Ophisians and Sheepillies until the beginning of their interstellar era, when Uingffh acquired better spacefaring technology allowing them to more easily travel to and from both civilizations’ homeworlds.
===Discovery of the Great Pit and the upper Izlondian Ruins (1776)===
On November 25, 1776, Kaywellian scientists exploring the upper reaches of the '''Great Pit''' - a large sinkhole located on an equatorial Uingffhian island - discovered the existence of extremely old, yet well-preserved ruins of a civilization whose architecture did not match that of any known civilizations. Further analysis and research of the ruins revealed their true source: an ancient intelligent civilization that had died out approximately 3 billion years ago. This civilization, named '''Izlondia''' according to its dominant species, the '''Drori''', had once controlled all of Uingffh and possibly all of Ingffhaestia and various outlying star systems before dying out in a catastrophic accident involving wormhole technology; it was this calamity, dubbed the First Apocalix, that had rendered their vast cities trapped underground.

The discovery of the Izlondians was the turning point in the evolution of the Uingffhian nations, Kaywell included, into advanced spacefaring powers. Knowledge of the Izlondians and the high likelihood of the existence of other alien civilizations in other star systems incited a strong desire in many Uingffhians to explore the stars beyond Ingffhaestia. Additionally, technological artifacts left behind in the Izlondian ruins provided Kaywell and the other nations with the necessary tools to develop their own spacefaring technology. After 1776, Kaywell and the rest of Uingffh entered the interstellar era.

===Development of interstellar travel (1776-1795)===
During the first few years of the interstellar era, Uingffh (led by Kaywell's space agencies) began developing the tools necessary for the transition to spacefaring status. Uingffh began designing and producing a variety of long-term, larger-scale space colonies and space stations. The Uingffhian nations also began partaking in moon, dwarf planet, and asteroid mining to fulfill the material needs for these spaceborne structures.

Most notably, Kaywell formed the '''Star Navy''' on December 6, 1780, and promptly began constructing a wide variety of starships intended for combat, anticipating numerous wars and conflicts during its conquest of the stars. In line with its emphasis on education, the Kingdom also began research into battle strategies and tactics in an outer space setting, training esteemed strategists and admirals with these battle plans. These commanders would become the Kingdom's '''Grand Admirals''', a new rank in the Star Navy whose members would become widely feared for their ruthlessly efficient strategies in starship combat. Kaywell also reinstated its four chivalric orders as military guilds for its Grand Admirals as well as established a secret fifth order - the '''Order of Apollyon''' - as a research institute dedicated to in-depth investigation and containment of Izlondian artifacts.

It should also be stressed that reverse engineering of Izlondian technology played an extremely significant role in the Uingffhians' rather fast progression into competent spacefaring powers. Leftover samples, blueprints, and data on Izlondian starships and their technology massively aided the Kaywellian Star Navy and other Uingffhian space militaries in quickly developing functional starships. Records on old Izlondian battles also helped inform Kaywell's tactical and strategic plans.
====Exploration of the Ingffhaestian Star System and the creation of the Thegasia Drives====

By the 1790s, Kaywell had phased away from spacefaring preparation and had begun to more fully explore the rest of their home star system, Ingffhaestia. Construction of settlements both in space and on other planetary surfaces dramatically increased as space grew into a major part of Kaywellian (and by extension, Uingffhian) citizens' lifestyles. Additionally, Kaywell began establishing relations with the Ibiridians and Sheepillies, in the process developing ear pod devices that allowed for the instantaneous translation of alien languages using brain waves.

Initially, exploration of Ingffhaestia was rather disorganized, which would have destructive consequences when the '''Ibiridius Crisis''' in 1793 between Osuwan and Morbidian ships nearly led to numerous debris impacts on Ibiridius, which were thankfully prevented by timely Kaywellian intervention. Kaywellian diplomats then averted further war and resolved the dispute through the subsequent '''Treaty of Ingffhaestian Settlement''', which designated the Ingffhaestian System as shared neutral territory while guaranteeing Ibiridius and Hevectavia independence as their own planetary powers. Afterwards, further spacefaring ventures became dominated by Kaywell, with the other 11 Uingffhian nations focusing on more localized spacefaring development.

One was the artificial star '''Kire''', which would later be used to terraform the ice moon Digrazia. But the most significant artifact discovered was the '''Thegasia Wormhole Gate''', a derelict wormhole generator that once connected Izlondian stellar colonies. Though the wormhole gate itself was offline at the time due to sustained damage from asteroid impacts and other natural factors, its inner technology remained intact enough for the Uingffhians to reverse-engineer into their own wormhole devices: the '''Thegasia Drives'''. These drives would concentrate surrounding interstellar matter into a wormhole, within which the drive can then generate an exit wormhole at any point in our universe within a specific range. At their time of creation, the drives had a range of four light-years, but the Kingdom would develop models with larger ranges in the future. The Kingdom promptly installed Thegasia drives onto most of its existing starships, completing this task by December 1799. This achievement of faster-than-light travel enabled Kaywell to begin conquering other star systems throughout succeeding centuries.

Wormholes generated by the Thegasia Drive notably contracted over time from Hawking radiation before exploding, with smaller wormholes dying faster than larger ones. This rendered wormhole travel impractical for individuals, but proved acceptable for the much larger starship. Many Kaywellian military scientists proposed using this explosion as a weapon - a proposal that would later become a reality with the creation of the Star Crushers during the 1816-1838 [[Three Great Offensives]].

The Grand Admirals often formed the forefront of interstellar colonization efforts and led massive starship fleet battles against opposing forces and civilizations. They also acted as competent temporary rulers, often overseeing recently conquered colonies during their first few years in order to quell any remaining dissent. As a whole, Kaywellian Grand Admirals were touted as the Kingdom's true greatest superweapons due to their exemplary use of clever tactics and strategies, which often proved sufficient to outwit even the most technologically powerful fleets and weapons. Grand Admirals were rather rare; prior to the Second Apocalix, only 37 Grand Admirals existed amongst the Star Navy's billions of officers.

The Grand Admirals were divided amongst four orders which each carried their own fleets, ships, troops, etc. They were the Orders of '''Uris''', '''Novus''', '''Kerbos''', and '''Sorellius'''; all four of them originally formed as chivalric orders of knights during the First Age of Imperium. Upon becoming Grand Admirals, individuals automatically earn the title of rei (but may decline to accept the rei nobiliary particle into their names) and are given the choice to join one of the four orders. A secretive fifth order, the Apollyonic Foundation, also existed for those heavily invested in Izlondian technological artifacts, though its members rejected traditional Star Navy titles like "Grand Admiral" due to their order's focus on research and containment rather than space combat.

Each order was managed by a special Grand Admiral known as a Grandmaster Admiral, who also led the training of new Grand Admirals (which tended to number 8-12 per order). Despite their leadership role, Grandmaster Admirals were not considered inherently superior to typical Grand Admirals, as their teaching roles included a responsibility to mold pupils into commanders superior to themselves. Because of this trait as well, Grandmaster Admirals were almost always much older than the rest of the members of the orders. An exception to this rule was the secret Order of Apollyon, which is led by a government-appointed individual called the Arbitrator instead.

However, during the interstellar era, the Order grew to be widely feared as one of the most ferocious and ruthless orders, with its Grand Admirals engaging in aggressive conquest campaigns. But during the 21st Century, the order's last Grandmaster Admiral - Kelaris rei Kerbos - began shifting the order's focus back towards philanthropy and justice. The order's last seven grand admirals - Ferno, Byr, Aurus, Laevo, Jove, Lyrne, and Glacen rei Kerbos - all originated as tabulon children from disadvantaged backgrounds adopted by Kelaris as an act of charity - a practice that Polaris vir Kerbos also engaged in.

The Order of Uris adopted blue as its signature color upon formation for two main reasons. For one, blue represented the Kyringffhian Ocean's waters, where the founding conquerators of the Uris Order (Shin Uriel Uris, Tychean rei Sheploup, and Liberius rei Elektra) conquered Liyres. Secondly, blue was the color of many of the mortei who complied with the colonization of the island continent. Kaywell was noted for its vast amount of social reforms during and after its Age of Revolution era, pioneering advances in gender equality, LGBTQ+ rights, disability accommodations, etc. Kaywellian culture also upholds workers' rights and well-being, with the nation emphasizing the importance of humane treatment by employers, adequate breaks, and generally balancing one's professional and personal lives; however, the nation did practice socialist-like ideologies to the extent of the Morbidian Hegemony.

Even during Kaywell's most progressive eras, however, the nation's aristocracy and royalty maintained a strong presence in the Kingdom's culture. Even after class reforms greatly reduced the political power of Kaywell's nobles and royals, much the Kaywellian populace continued to pay the customary respects to the Kingdom's historic upper class. Though Kaywell's military was celebrated and upheld by the public, the nation's culture put a special emphasis on the commanders and strategists behind the battlefield, most notably the Grand Admirals of the four orders and the Glass Angels guarding the nation's most important individuals. This veneration of strategists likely stemmed from the nation's veneration of aristocrats, as many Kaywellian military elites were descended from Kaywellian noble families. Like Kaywell's royals, the Kaywellian Grand Admirals and Glass Angels were treated like celebrities in the Kingdom's culture; the public viewed them in high regard, but also often gossiped about them and showed a vested interest in their personal lives.

The tabulons originated from a small group of survivors of the [[Izlondian Imbrialty]]'s [[Drori]] species, another advanced civilization, 3 billion years ago after said species' cataclysmic near-extinction. From there, the surviving Drori devolved into less intelligent lifeforms, giving rise to the treylums. As Uingffh gradually regained its former superhabitability, the treylums slowly evolved into more intelligent forms, developing a set of six tentacles with wing-like extensions in the process. Eventually, the first modern tabulons evolved in what is now Kaywell from Tabulontis Miressia or a similar species roughly a million years ago.

From there, the tabulons quickly spread through other parts of the Ulstonian Continent, after which they spread further into Uingffh's island continents, such as Uveerius and Uopia. For their first 500,000 years of existence, the tabulons existed as hunter-gatherers, but the latter half of their existence saw the species develop agriculture, permanent settlements, and other hallmarks of behaviorial modernity. The species' society continued to evolve until reaching its current space-faring state, becoming present across numerous star systems.

Tabulons, along with other sentient species within the vicinity of Ingffhaestia such as the humans, notably display some biological similarities including their cellular structure, their organs, etc. This is due to the fact that all of these species are descended from the Drori, who seeded life on various star systems 3 billion years ago in a final effort to preserve their species. Though these seeded biospheres maintained a few of the core characteristics of Uingffhian life, they ultimately evolved into unique forms to adapt to their planets and moons' unique environments. The tabulons, however, differ from these other species in that they are directly descended from surviving Drori individuals as opposed to being seeded artificially.

Tabulons are marked by a prominent spherical main body, which houses the vast majority of their organs including those in their central nervous system. The front of this body contains similar features to those on the face of a human: a pair of eyes, a (largely obscured) nose, and a mouth. Their eyebrows notably vary based on sex - males have featureless eyebrows, females have eyebrows with prominent long lashes, and somales have three sets of eyebrows layered on top of one another. Eyebrow style, however, can be changed if so desired, such as during transgender surgery.

Four limbs analogous to arms and legs protrude from the sides of this spherical torso. These limbs are notably much thicker and stubbier than human limbs due to Uingffh's higher gravity; many other bestia (animal) species on Uingffh also possess this adaptation. The arms contain retractable claws which can inflict injuries, but are mostly used for grabbing objects.

Two pointed ears similar to those of Earth cats exist at the top of the spherical body. These are the visible components of a tabulon's auditory system and work similarly to human ears; due to their larger size and cat-like structure, tabulons can hear sounds of much higher frequencies than humans.

Several pairs of tentacle-like appendages extend from the back of a tabulon's body. Most tabulons possess three pairs of tentacles, but genetic mutations leading to more than three pairs are not uncommon. These tentacles complement the arms in grabbing and reaching objects, being weaker but more flexible. An array of feather-like materials similar to feathers extends from the bottom of each tentacle; these "wings" exist to attract potential mates.

The caudal end of a tabulon is marked by a bushy, rounded tail. This tail can function similar to a tabulon's tentacles and can assist in grabbing and holding onto objects.

On average, tabulons stand around a meter or 3 feet tall from the bottom of their feet to the top of their spherical body, but this varies. Members of the somale sex tend to be particularly large, with some reaching upwards to over two meters in height.

Typical tabulons possess a coat of fur that covers their entire body, including their private parts. Because of this, clothing is not a necessity in tabulon society and is limited to fancy decorations like rings, eyepieces, hats, crowns, etc.

Bioluminescence forms a notable feature of tabulons, with both their eyes and their "wings" possessing the ability to faintly glow. This trait mostly exists to attract mates, but it can also aid in navigating through low light environments to a certain extent.

An individual tabulon's most distinguishing feature from other individuals is their fur coat. The color of tabulon fur coats can vary between a wide variety of colors, including all hues on the traditional "ROYGBIV" sequence. Color used to vary depending on region, but this is no longer as applicable due to large amounts of race mixing and immigration in present-day tabulon societies.

Within color "races", tabulon fur coats often possess unique patterns of stripes and minute differences in primary hue that distinguish them from other members of the same color. Many tabulons develop circular, ovular, or swirl-shaped spots that disrupt the striped pattern during their teenage years. These spots remain on their fur for their entire lifetime. Similar spots may develop where bruises and wounds occur. Many individuals of other species compare the appearance of a tabulon's fur coat to that of a gas giant or ice giant planet as viewed from space; the fact that some tabulons wear rings around their bodies as an accessory only strengthens this comparison.

The colors of tabulons' wing-like appendages and eyes can also vary between individuals. Like their fur, their bioluminescent body parts can come in all hues on the traditional rainbow as well as other colors; multicolored and/or gradient "wings" and eyes are also common. Unlike fur coat colors, wing-like appendage and eye colors have never correlated to region, with all tabulon "races" boasting a wide range of possible eye and wing colors.

Size/height can vary as well. In addition to size variations between the three trinary sexes, size variations within individuals of the same sex can also occur. Furthermore, the sizes of certain body parts in relation to the rest of the body can vary; for instance, some tabulons have larger wing-like appendages than other tabulons. Bilateral symmetry is almost always preserved, though.

Like almost all other forms of life, tabulons are subject to genetic mutations while being conceived. Many genetic mutations seen in humans, such as color blindness, heterochromia, and down syndrome, can occur in tabulons as well.

Many tabulon-exclusive genetic mutations exist as well. One of the most common of these is [[Wikipedia:Polymelia|Polymelia]] of the wing-like appendages. An estimated 3% of tabulons are born with more than the usual three pairs of wing appendages, with the most common number of pairs within that 3% being four. 0.5% of tabulons have five pairs of wings. Having six or seven pairs is exceedingly rare; only 0.1% have six pairs while only seven individuals with seven pairs of wings have been recorded in tabulon history. Having an odd number of total wings or an asymmetrical arrangement of wings is also exceedingly rare. Wing appendage polymelia - specifically cases with four pairs of appendages - can be hereditary; a notable example is the Tharsis Family, whose members all have four pairs of wings. Other variations of wing-like appendage polymelia, however, are almost never passed down to descendants or offspring.

Another notable genetic mutation in tabulons is heterochromia in the bioluminescent parts of the wing-like appendages, which occurs in around 1% of the tabulon population. This typically manifests as the colors on the left appendages being different from the colors on the right appendages. Wing appendage heterochromia tends to occur in conjunction with eye heterochromia, with the colors of the wings still matching with the colors of the eyes. Wing appendage heterochromia can occur independently, though. On very rare occasions, wing heterochromia and eye heterochromia can occur independently of each other in the same individual, with the wing colors not matching with the eye color. In even rarer cases, the heterochromia can manifest in a pattern diverging from the usual left-right case; for instance, each of the individual wings may have a different color.

In these cases, the wings' shape will tend to align with the pattern on the wings' surfaces. Neprus Nerugol is a notable tabulon individual with mosaicry. Mosaicry was more common in tabulons in the past due to its potential usage as camoflauge, but has since begun to decline with the modernization of tabulon civilization.

An exceptionally rare, yet highly publicized genetic mutation exclusive to tabulons is Tabulon Glowing Disorder (TGD), or Galeemia, which occurs in a mere 0.0001% of tabulon individuals. As its common name implies, TGD is when the bioluminescent features of the wings and eyes are present throughout the entire body, resulting in a tabulon that glows. Most commonly, bioluminescence of certain stripes on a tabulon's body occurs, but some Galeemia-affected tabulons experience bioluminescence across all parts of their bodies. Due to their extreme rarity, tabulons with TGD have cultural significance - both positive and negative - in tabulon society; for instance, discrimination against tabulons with Galeemia is a pressing social issue. Despite the presence of "disorder" in the name TGD, the mutation carries no adverse health effects on the tabulon affected; some TGD tabulons have interpreted this misconception as a form of discrimination against people with their condition. Tabulons with Galeemia were much less common during prehistory, when their excessive glow tended to easily reveal their location and attract predators.

Somales also tend to be physically larger than men, who tend to be physically larger than women, but exceptions are common.

The three tabulon sexes translate to a gender trinary in tabulon culture and society, with gender norms being attached to each of the three main genders. However, these norms have largely faded away due to progressive social movements. Like with humans, tabulon gender does not always equal their sex/gender assigned at birth; they may realize that they are a different gender than their sex implies or adopt a gender identity outside of the traditional gender trinary. Typical tabulon clothing instead serves as mere decoration, sometimes being viewed as a sign of status; nonetheless, mandatory full-body clothing does exist for more extreme circumstances such as deep sea diving or space travel.

Typical tabulon decorative clothing most commonly occurs in one of three forms. One is a ring that encircles a tabulon's lower waist; these are usually circular, but may also come in other shapes like diamonds or hexagons on rare occasions. Though rings may appear to float without actually being attached to the tabulon's body, they actually contain nearly-invisible bars connecting to an equally nearly-invisible inner ring fitting tighter around the waist. Another form of tabulon clothing is a monocle-like eyepiece that encircles one of the eyes. Unlike rings, eyepieces may feature gemstones, fancy shapes, or other decorative additions. Tabulon clothing may also come in the form of a crown, visor, tiara, also possibly adorned in gemstones and other decorative features; full-on hats are rare among tabulons due to the species' protruding, cat-like ears presenting an obstacle to hats.

As the Interstellar Consortium collapsed in the face of Imperial Kaywell's overwhelming might, the Bucaloy System formally declared independence as Isoia-Urdenmark in 2023.

Following its formation, Isoia-Urdenmark steadily built up an exceptionally powerful military to match the Kaywellian Star Navy while also accepting more refugees. However, the Grand Kingdom generally kept a low profile in order to prevent Kaywell from noticing its presence.
