Mopuawey has consistently been an independent country since long before the colonization of the region by foreign powers, either fending off or deterring imminent invasion altogether outright, with its [[Shujaa]] forces fiercely defending the nation until the Iron League arrived. Originally a kingdom, the king was overthrown after the occupation of the country, but only after stiff resistance against the foreign invaders. The Invaders occupied the country for almost seven years before Allied forces landed on the beaches of Mopuawey, with local partisan cells causing chaos and confusion amongst the occupiers. == Geography ==
The Republic of Mopuawey is located in southern Khemsu with Wimoweh, its capital residing in the south-eastern part of the country along the [[Bluu Kubwa River]]. The [[Mwamba Mountain Range]] stretch along the southern coast, itself already a tropical area. To the North, lies the Deserts leading to the Al-Samarran border with the sands also encompassing Dahrat in the west. The republic is also surrounded on three sides by the Austral ocean, with tropical storms pelting the south of the country being common.

Mopuawey is a Presidential Unitary Republic and has been a republic since its liberation by [[Allies (Eudaimonia)|Allied]] forces from the [[Iron League]] during the [[Ten Years' War]]. The capital of Mopuawey is [[Wimoweh]] located along the Bluu Kubwa River. The provincial administration of Mopuawey consisting of sixteen regions across the country. == Economy ==
After rearmament and rebuilding of damaged sectors of the country in the early 1950s, the republic has stabilized, in part thanks to build-up of value in the regional market of the Mopuaweyan currency, the [[Dobra]]. This has in-turn helped expand the mining of resources such as coal in the south of the country from the Mwamba mountains, along with the mining of [[Phosphate|Phosphates]] in the north. Elsewhere farms and plantations harvest a variety of spices and [[Dogfruit]]; with both considered essential ingredients used in the production of [[Dogwine]], a rather popular wine throughout the world. A rather small military industrial complex supplies mostly minor equipment or smaller numbers of equipment such as armored vehicles, and more recently light aircraft, with most other needed to be purchased from abroad.

The [[Mopuaweyan Armed Forces]] has benefitted from both [[Belakrain]] and [[Magellan]]'s wartime and early postwar lend-lease programs once the country was liberated. The [[Mopuaweyan Army]] were rebuilt in the Early 1950s and has continued to rely on a mostly volunteer composition. The [[Mopuaweyan Air force]] (MAF) has not faired as well, with poor quality maintenance and a lack of spare parts for its rapidly out-of-date airframes causing an immediate need for modernization. The [[Mopuaweyan Navy]] has always been at the lower end of the military budget, with only a handful of surface combatants and a dependence on patrol craft, this section of the force will hopefully see its own modernization and expansion soon. A Ridiculously high quantity of sea mines in a minefield at sea placed there by the Iron league since the Ten Years' War lies off the coast in what was a trade lane before the war. Belakrainian and Magellan forces bypassed the minefield at the time, which has proved beyond the Navy's budget to attempt to remove, and the minefield has occasionally sank civilian vessels or fishing trawlers that so happens across it. Occasionally these sea mines were washed up on the southern shores of Mopuawey, a reminder that as time passes, this rarity will only occur more.
