===State Koutja===
The Left will take part in the [[2026 State Koutja elections]]. This would be the first election to the upper house including a left-wing party since the 1990 elections. Previously, VIHTJA was in favour of abolishing the upper house and distributing its powers to the Saemija and Provincional Assemblies. As for May 2026, a former member of SDP ([[Nikolai Unho]]; joined in 2025) is the sole delegate to the State Koutja.
