2015 Rhodesian party leadership elections

The 2015 leadership elections of the Commonwealth of Rhodesia took place on 10 April 2015, over the leadership results of specific parties to run for government in the parliament. Elections took place on both national and local levels to decide on specific candidates for each constituency, with candidates from all parties competing for their party's nomination for specific localities to be elected from in the 2015 Rhodesia general elections. The elections also decided the leadership results for each party, making visible all possible candidates for leader of the parliament and thus prime minister in the general elections.

Centre Party

Members of the Centre Party elected James Forsythe as leader of the party for a second term, in which he won 57% of the runoff vote.

  4. Frederick Henry, 13%

Runoff, 15 March

  1. James Forsythe, 57%
  2. Alexander Constable, 43%

Co-operative Party

Members of the Co-operative Party elected Diana Tinsley as leader of the party for a second term, in which she won 53% of the runoff vote.

  2. Arnold Guildford, 33%
  3. Sarah Merchant, 29%

Runoff, 15 March

  1. Diana Tinsley, 53%
  2. Arnold Guildford, 47%

Green Party

Members of the Green Party elected Natalie Umbridge as leader of the party for her first term, in which she won 62% of the primary vote.

Royalist Party

Members of the Royalist Party elected Theodore Kent as leader of the party for a fifth term, in which he won 89% of the primary vote.

Social Democratic Party

Members of the Social Democratic Party elected Charles Haverley as leader of the party for a third term, in which he won 57% of the runoff vote.
