Portal:Harth
The Harth project is an independent science fantasy world developed by Fizzyflapjack. The project has undergone several reboots since it was first conceptualised in late 2022. The last major update and reboot took place in early 2024, and since then, the core principles of the world have remained stable.
The original incarnation of the Harth project involving a much larger number of directly derived features was inspired by a mixture of Middle Earth, Pillars of Eternity, and Dwarf Fortress. The project became inactive in 2023 as its only author began his second university degree and also became more involved in the technical management of the wiki. In early 2024, the Harth project was revived and most of its original lore was scrapped in favour of a far less derivative setting only lightly inspired by Forgotten Realms.
