The tabulon Urlum Eudae Kerolon was a highly notable Kerolonian royal known for orchestrating numerous political events between 2033 and 2040. Born on March 13, 1905 as the third princess of the Kingdom of Kerolon, Urlum enjoyed vast cultural influence over Kerolon from a young age and received praise for her exceptional intelligence and academic achievements; however, she allegedly experienced significant pressure from her peers to excel in academics, which possibly contributed to poor mental health in her adolescent years. In her early adulthood, Urlum worked as a civil engineer and meteorology, making a number of notable contributions to the fields including the Eudae Cyclum Wind Scale, a new method of measuring the potential wind damage of Uingffhian tropical cyclones; and many of the natural disaster defenses and environmentally-friendly power generation sites in Sumber Alami, a neutral island city in the middle of Uingffh's Tornelingffhian Ocean acting as the site of international diplomatic meetings.

Following the Battle of Bor in 2018, which severely injured her younger sister Nisc, Urlum became an outspoken political activist against Osuwa and Morbidia's cold war. She also enrolled in Kerolon's Star Navy and quickly rose through its ranks, eventually becoming one of the Grand Admirals in the Order of Novus. Additionally, she became active in diplomacy with other alien civilizations and nations; this led to her deployment to Earth in 2032 after the discovery of the human race by Kerolon.

Early life

On March 13, 1905, Urlum Eudae Kerolon was born into the Kingdom of Kerolon's royal family as its third princess and second-oldest biological child. Urlum was actually assigned somale at birth, but came out as transgender at the age of 42 (equivalent to around 14 years in human terms due to the way tabulons age at a third of the rate humans age); Uingffh's advanced technology and her parents' support allowed her to quickly complete her transition to female by age 45.

As a youth, Urlum was known for her high intelligence and academic proficiency, being able to read by age 7 (biologically equivalent to a little over 2 years in human terms). In her free time, she would participate in strategy games with her peers and engage in her school's debate clubs; peers and adults alike report that she very rarely lost against her opponents, with her older brother Sarnus Robau Kerolon being the only opponent she struggled to win against. By just 1949, Urlum began attending college at the age of 44 (biologically equivalent to a 15 year-old human) and, skipping a grade thanks to her high achievements, graduated just three years later at the top of her class.

A few personal friends of Urlum claim that she was often bullied for having a "nerdy" personality and developed a desire for control and power due to having none in her early life. However, these accounts contradict accounts of Urlum given by other close peers and Urlum herself, who all claim that she was amiable, extroverted, and had a sizeable friend group. Some others also criticized Urlum for having a narcissistic, selfish attitude among her pears, seeing herself as superior to others on the basis of her status as royalty; however, Urlum and several others denied this claim as well.

Civil engineering and meteorology career

In 1950, Urlum Eudae Kerolon graduated from Korroway Imperial State University with the equivalent of a master’s degree in civil engineering and was quickly accepted into a public sector job within her field of study. However, she would go on to work in numerous sectors including the private sector and academic research as well.

Princess Urlum notably focused her work on structural engineering - specifically, the effects of weather-related disasters and Uingffhian climate change on artificial structures. Throughout her career, the third princess frequently worked with the retractable wind shields and flood barriers that protected coastal and tropical settlements from powerful tropical cyclones, proposing and engineering a number of improvements to their structure and mechanisms. However, she also worked with buildings themselves as well as infrastructural constructs like roads and bridges, creating designs that better resisted the intense conditions of tropical cyclones, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis, and flooding. In addition, though she did not align herself with a particular political party at the time, Princess Urlum encouraged governments to take greater action on Uingffhian climate change as well as protection of the environments of other habitable planets and moons settled by Uingffh’s nations.

It was during the later phases of her civil engineering career that Princess Urlum met Yashriel Kairos, a Tristanian mechanical engineer. Though the two worked in differing fields of engineering, both held a similar desire to use their engineering skills to improve Uingffhian society’s relationship with the natural environments of not only Uingffh itself, but also the many worlds colonized by the Uingffhians. These shared goals, alongside their tendency to work in the same companies, universities, and public organizations, quickly brought the two together and fostered a strong bond; by the 2010s, both of them were citing each other as their closest friend in interviews. Some interviewers alleged a romantic relationship between the two, but both Princess Urlum and Kairos strongly dispelled such beliefs, citing Urlum’s own aromantic and sexual identity as well as Yashriel Kairos’ open homosexuality.

One of Princess Urlum's most notable contributions was a new tropical cyclone scale for the Kingdom of Kerolon to use for tropical cyclones that form within the aetherland's vicinity.
