RE: French Nobility

I think the French nobility is probably the same as the OTL families that exist. The French government recognizes the status of noble titles in France, similar to the UK. The French constitution also allows the king to confer noble titles, although besides being officially recognized by the government and being able to have an audience with the monarch, there aren't any other special privileges.
