John Wayne Berislav Petkovich (born on 4 May 1967) is a Rioblancoan politician, current Chancellor of Rio Blanco.
Biography
Petkovich was born in Arvada, DCD, to a Croatian Rioblancoan father, Bogdan "Danny" Petković, whose family fled Croatia and settled in Rio Blanco to avoid the war, and to a Rioblancoan mother, Sally Gynsburgh. According to his father, he was named after John Wayne.
Unlike some other prominent politicians, Petkovich entered politics well in his twenties, without any experience.
He was appointed Senator pro tempore from the DCD in 2010, for filling an empty spot left by his predecessor Grant Garrish, who resigned on 9 July of that year, citing personal reasons; Petkovich was then confirmed in his post on 15 August of the same year.
After his term as Senator expired, he was appointed Chancellor by President Bill Stanmourne.
