A member of the Democratic-Republican Party, Napolitano is a prominent political activist from the state having been involved in political activism since leaving office in 2013 and has ran in various elections starting with the governor's race in 2013.

Napolitano sought to win the Democratic-Republican nomination for the governor's race, but lost and came in second place. She ran again for the 2017 election and came in a close third place. Between and after both campaigns, Napolitano has worked for Flip the Southeast, a political organization promoting liberalism and progressivism and pushing for electing Democratic-Republicans to publicoffice in the Southeast to reduce Royalist influence. Alice ran for the Senate race for 2022 and won the Democratic-Republican nomination for the upcoming election in Cornerstone where she will face off against former Governor Justin Amax.
