Differences worldwide
- Most of North America is covered with glacier
- Central Asia is much warmer and wetter
- A river flowing from the Caspian Sea has the greatest discharge of all rivers
- Much of Australia has a Mediterranean climate
- Greenland and Antarctica no longer have ice cover
- Much of Siberia is desert
