It is the northernmost province in Brazoria, encompassing portions of the Southern Rocky Mountains as well as the western edge of the Great Plains. Behind them is the Democratic Socialist Party in terms of representation and party strength overall. The Libertarian Party is the largest opposition party in Colorado, being the main opposition force in the provincial legislature. Colorado's generally liberal political culture has generally been credited for its legalization of marijuana, support for LGBT rights, and opposition to conservative governments and federal policies.
