They were related to the Huyatars, Salbars, and Zheyars. The Huvars fought several wars with the Battani, even sacking Aubidon in 619, before they were ultimately vanquished by Marcoman at the Battle of the Yellow Fields. Afterwards, the Huvars disappear from the historical record. They were likely dispersed among the other Yaric tribes and later incorporated into the confederacy of Yaria.
