Deira, Officially Kingdom of Deira, is a sovereign nation situated on the Deyr Peninsula, located to the west of Central Verdantis. Deira comprises of Deyr, Iara and Southcoethen. It borders Zuberaia, Chaolasia, Hvltonia, to the east, and Valhürner, Vohylt-Tvahorner, Köthen, Harliid to the west. The nation's capital and most populous city is Drysden, and other major cities includes Mayport, Stratham, Lenfurt and Belkhram. With a population of over 71.35 million, Deira is the world's 21st-most populous country.

In 1800, the Kingdom of Deyr and the Kingdom of Iara united under the Union Treaty of 1800 to create the Union Kingdom of Deyr-Iara. Following the Treaty of Rudolberg, ending the War of 1807, the Südköthen region was ceded to Union Kingdom of Deyr-Iara. After a four-year "harmonisation" period that saw the region being integrated into the Deyr-Iaran administrative and legal system, the region was formally incorporated into the Union of Deyr-Iara as the State of Southcoethen.
