Colorado, officially the Colorado Province, is a province of the Kingdom of Brazoria. It is the northernmost province in Brazoria, encompassing portions of the Southern Rocky Mountains as well as the western edge of the Great Plains. Colorado is the TBD largest province in terms of land area, and is the second largest in terms of population. Colorado borders the Kingdom of Sierra (West Colorado) to the west, Tournesol (Grandes-Prairies and Ouest-Arcansa) to the east, and is the only Brazorian province to border Superior (Wyoming), which is in the north.

The region of Colorado has been inhabited by Native Americans and their ancestors for at least 13,500 years, possilby longer with the eastern ridge of the Rocky Mountains serving as a major migration route for early peoples who traveled through Colorado. The world "Colorado" is a Spanish adjective meaning "ruddy", the color of the Fountain Formation outcroppings found up and down the Front Range of the Rock Mountains. The region was first settled by White Brazorian settlers starting in the 1830s as the region was unclaimed and largely fell within Brazoria's sphere of influence and would be an unincorporated territory, the Colorado Territory, until 1920 when it was formally incorporated into the country, earning it the nickname as the "Centennial Province" due to it having been incorporated on the centennial anniversary of Brazoria's independence.

Behind them is the Democratic Socialist Party in terms of representation and party strength overall. The Libertarian Party is the largest opposition party in Colorado, being the main opposition force in the provincial legislature.
