The following is a list of notable people and figures in the ATKAT universe.
Imperial Kingdom of Kaywell
Kaywellian Imperial Family
Shol Lunaroze Kaywell is a tabulon somale (third sex unique to Uingffhians; uses pronouns fe/fir), the eighth ring (somale monarch) of the Kingdom of Kaywell, and the first ring to rule during Kaywell's imperial era. Shol is a proud and strict individual who expects highly of fir five children and holds a fervent love for the kingdom fe rules ceremonially.
Jool Halleoneus Kaywell is a tabulon and the oldest child of Shol, being Kaywell's first prince. However, Jool is adopted and thus is ineligible for the throne due to his lack of royal blood; he was adopted at the insistence of Prince Sarnus, who had developed a strong bond with Jool after Jool ran away from his abusive noble family. Jool himself has since made his presence known as a strong and fierce Star Navy officer, ascending to the rank of Grand Admiral in the Order of Sorellius.
Sarnus Robau Kaywell is a tabulon and the second prince of the Kaywellian Kingdom and Shol's oldest biological child; this fact makes him the crown prince of the Kingdom. Sarnus himself is close friends with Jool, but has the opposite personality: he is a seemingly friendly, jovial, and sometimes eccentric person known for his many piercings. Sarnus is also exceptionally intelligent, being known for his work in diplomacy. However, some believe that Prince Sarnus has more complicated plans behind the scenes, especially regarding the reformation of Kaywell into an imperial kingdom.
Urlum Eudae Kaywell is a tabulon, the third princess of Kaywell, a Grand Admiral of the Holy Order of Novus, and the 12th Azalea. As the discoverer of ancient Izlondian ruins revealing the Uingffhians' direct descendance from the Izlondians, Urlum helped pioneer the rise of the Imperial Kaywell and is considered the mastermind behind its operations of destruction and species extermination. As a warrior adept at both starship combat strategy and kaelum close quarters combat, she is widely feared by the stars.
Neidon Galileo Kaywell is a tabulon and the fourth princioso (somale prince/princess) of Kaywell. Neidon originally lived a very sheltered and comfortable life in the Korroway Palace, but wished to learn more about the stars and fir sister Urlum after fe helped her discover the Izlondian ruins. However, after declaring fir opposition to Imperial Kaywell's policies, the close sibling relationship between fir and Urlum shattered.
Hypatia Ilum Kaywell is the fifth princess of Kaywell and the imperial family's youngest member. After Urlum and Neidon drifted apart, Urlum began doting on Hypatia, wishing to replace her broken bond with Neidon and to mold her into an interstellar conqueror like herself. However, like Neidon, Hypatia wishes to learn more about the world beyond Imperial Kaywell and to dissect the flaws of the society around her.
Kesslerim
Highmost ministers
Perle von Nurnberg is a morteus and a former highmost minister of the Kingdom of Kaywell. A member of the progressive and futurist Stellar Caretaker Party, Perle practices a strict and serious demeanor as a diplomat. Secretly, however, she is deeply dissatisfied with the speciesism prevalent in Kaywellian society. Nonetheless, her support for Kaywellian militarism costs her her victory during the 1241 a.r.k. Kesslerim elections, leading to the rise of the even more discriminatory Imperial Kaywell under her opponent Von Urusera.
Siddalee von Urusera is a tabulon and the first highmost minister of the Imperial Kingdom of Kaywell. A connoisseur of the Kaywellian arts, von Urusera joined the Imperial Traditionalists over her dissatisfaction with Kaywell’s apparent neglect of culture. However, her victory in the 1241 a.r.k. unwittingly initiates decades of interstellar war and discrimination - measures von Urusera isn’t necessarily supportive of.
Cathedral of the Affluent
Mesmo Kerilim Kerolon is a tabulon and a member of the Cathedral of the Affluent, Kaywell’s upper legislative house. A member of the high-ranking Kaywellian noble family of Kerolon, Mesmo embodies moderate Imperial Traditionalist beliefs, being supportive of their policies but mostly focusing on their sponsorship of Uingffhian art and culture.. However, these beliefs often conflict with fir love for fir daughter Nisc Elizer Kerolon, which is genuine.
Aras Kerilim Kerolon is a tabulon, the fraternal twin wester (somale sibling) of Mesmo, and a member of the Cathedral of the Affluent, Kaywell’s upper legislative house. In contrast to fir more moderate wester, Aras embodies the more extreme beliefs of the Imperial Traditionalists, supporting both increased militarism and harshness against non-Uingffhian civilizations. Fe has also been embroiled in a rivalry with Mesmo since childhood.
Cathedral of the Common
Twelve Azaleas
Hanaweather rei Galaxon is the first and most skilled of the Twelve Azaleas, Imperial Kaywell's elite guard. A wise and kind aether (somale parent) figure and mentor, Kelaris is known for his charitable acts including his adoption of seven less fortunate tabulon children, who later grew into the other Grand Admirals of Kerbos. However, as a strong proponent of Kaywellian militarism, Kelaris raises fir children firmly and with discipline.
Ferno rei Kerbos is a tabulon, a Grand Admiral of Kaywell's Order of Kerbos, and one of Kelaris' adopted children. He is ireful and vindictive towards his opponents, but a competent commander to his allies. His ire has only increased with the damaging of the Fernozzle Gallery, a place he held dear, during the Thriteria Crisis.
Aurus rei Kerbos is a tabulon, a Grand Admiral of Kaywell's Order of Kerbos, and one of Kelaris' adopted children. A bombastic and extravagant individual with an air for the theatrical, Aurus is a close colleague of his adoptive wester Laevo and loves presenting Laevo's many plans and starship designs, driving nationalism and patriotism for the Imperial Kingdom. However, Aurus is a very competent commander of his own, and does his best to care for his subordinates while using his might to befall Kaywell’s foes such as the remnants of Polyingffh.
Laevo rei Kerbos is a tabulon, a Grand Admiral of Kaywell's Order of Kerbos, and one of Kelaris' adopted children. Considered one of the Kerbos Order's most intelligent, Laevo is known for fir formal, aristocratic attitude and fir exceptional skill in not only strategy, but also starship design. However, fe is also known to be a "gentle giant" towards fir crew and deeply cares for them. Nonetheless, fe is a strict adherent to Kaywell’s extravagant culture and holds little tolerance towards those fe perceives as threats to the arts.
Jove rei Kerbos is a tabulon, a Grand Admiral of Kaywell's Order of Kerbos, and one of Kelaris' adopted children. Grand Admiral Jove is an upbeat and whimsical individual seen as a mother figure by the rest of the order, educating others on Kaywell’s tight norms. She is the oldest of Kelaris' adopted children.

Glacen rei Kerbos is a tabulon, a Grand Admiral of Kaywell's Order of Kerbos, and the youngest of Kelaris' adopted children. Though kind to her subordinates, Glacen is feared for her episodes of cold callousness, when she ruthlessly dispatches her foes. Most notably, she uses her knowledge in chemistry against the remnants of the Interstellar Consortium without mercy.
Order of Novus
Cyran Infernas Novus is a tabulon and the Grandmaster Admiral of Kaywell's Order of Novus. Cyran originally fought in the war against the powerful Jasperion Empire, one of the only alien civilizations Uingffh failed to conquer. Uingffh's loss dampened morale amongst the populace, so Cyran rose as a Grand Admiral with a proud, fiery, and courageous personality in an effort to revive patriotism amongst Kaywellians.
Mirn Nova Kirbani is a tabulon and a Grand Admiral of Kaywell's Order of Novus. She puts up a cold and calculating exterior, but has a gentler side to her, wishing to use her strategies to limit casualties and destruction as much as possible. Mirn joined the Order of Novus to stop terrorism after a terrorist attack killed her parents. She is also the sister of Vael Nova Kirbani, another Grand Admiral in the Novus order.
Areon Rimuru Tellaeon is a morteus and a Grand Admiral of the Order of Novus. Fe is a ruthless and sadistic individual willing to kill and destroy in the name of fir loyalty to Ring Mesmo. Fe also works with Laevo rei Kerbos in starship development, though their relationship is tense due to the contrast between their personalities.
Order of Uris
Order of Sorellius
Serrette rei Sorellius is a tabulon and the Grandmaster Admiral of the Order of Sorellius. Little is known about Serrette, but due to her status as the leader of Kaywell's mightiest and most powerful order, she is widely feared by Uingffh's enemies and revered by Uingffh's allies. Her flagship is the star crusher KSS Shadow of the Sundered Star.
Norland rei Luneburg is a lordion, a Grand Admiral of the Order of Sorellius, and the 11th Angel of the Glass Angels. As one of the only individuals to hold both the title of Grand Admiral and Glass Angel, Norland is widely feared for his combined proficiency in starship command and kaelum piloting. His unforgiving, brooding demeanor suggests ulterior motives.
Sriteria Industries
Other citizens
Blair Citadel is a tristanian and the younger brother of Carter Citadel, Nisc's palace servant and close confidant. He is a quiet, reserved, and intelligent student at Korroway Imperial State University studying mathematics. Though Blair comes off as cold and distant, he is very protective of his brother Carter and his crush Javes.
Javes Ponsolo is a tristanian and a student at Korroway Imperial State University. He is studying mechanical engineering and wishes to join the Kaywell Star Navy's starship engineering corps after graduating; in the past, he has worked under Grand Admiral Laevo rei Kerbos as an intern. Outside of his academics and career, Javes enjoys long distance running and partying. Though he puts up a tough and quiet exterior, he secretly reciprocates Blair's feelings for him.
Carter Citadel is a tristanian and the older brother of Blair Citadel. He is 12th Princess Nisc Elizer Kaywell's longtime escort and close friend, and was with her during the Battle of Bor. She is a student studying mechanical engineering, but also does art on the side like her family's ancestors did.
Corzalia Praestatio Diamanta is a friend and schoolmate of Gabria. Though she is not as wealthy as Gabria and her other friends, she bonds strongly with them and acts as a mother figure with her mature and calm personality. Corzalia is also known for her fierceand unyielding optimism, believing in the potential in the people of the stars to surmount stellar society's problems.
Ardris rei Mentalis is a lordion and a member of the wealthy Mentalis noble family. Ardris is another friend of Gabria and acts like an older sister figure; though both come from upper-class backgrounds, Ardris has witnessed the darker sides of Uingffhian society and wishes to educate Gabria about both the ups and downs of the world. Ardris is also interested in fashion and home design.
Beta Canum Venaticorum (alias Chara) is a glowing tabulon who resides at a remote military outpost on Akito, a desolate moon in a fringe Kaywellian system known as the Uris System.
