Conservatives of Ilgerland
Main Article: 2025 Conservatives of Ilgerland presidential candidate selection
The Conservatives of Ilgerland initially did not schedule a candidate selection having stood by Wailiem Köneg's plans to end the age limit for the presidency. Following the failure of the motion, the Conservatives organised its selection process to occur on 15th January 2025 under instant-runoff voting. Declarations for candidates began on 2nd March 2024 and closed on 31st October 2024. Konred Burine announced his campaign on 27th March 2024. He is campaigning on a socially liberal policy with a conservative economic policy. He is the first ever openly homosexual person to run for the Conservative nomination. Hiwherd Castillo announced his campaign on 18th May 2024. He is positioning himself to be the continuation of Wailiem Köneg's presidency. Sherin De Oilivirs initially declared her candidacy on 3rd June 2024 but withdrew on 17th November 2024. She will remain on the ballot but has encouraged her supporters to vote for Burine. Matio Herthem announced his candidacy on 19th April 2024. As a political outsider, he is campaigning on a platform of deregulation. Luisa Patier announced her candidacy on 16th September 2024. She is campaigning on a platform of cracking down on what she describes as "woke communist propaganda". Otis Wentries announced his candidacy on 16th March 2024. He is campaigning on a platform of Euroscepticism promising a referendum on EU membership. The candidate selection will occur on 15th January 2025 and will occur on the same day as three other selections.
