Cienugueza vocabulary is notably distinct from Spanish due to its relative isolation from other Spanish-speaking countries, as well as conservative linguistic purism policies implemented by the Cienugueza Linguistic Scholars' Association (Alsozcí pas Erditos lembayicos cienuguezas). Cienugueza is a secondary language for most functions in Qenuga society, however lends some part of its vocabulary to Tagdamun despite the two languages' conservative tendencies.
Cienugueza is a fusional language, with many of its grammatical features inherited from and innovated upon Spanish.
