Legacy
Julia Mendel of the Saint Anne Sun described Kanno as "one of the most persistent figures in the history of the Province of Mohave... and as a man who helped overthrow the boundaries of cultural divide within Sierra". Mendel speculates his incumbency as a commoner may have played a role in the Sierran Cultural Revolution.
