Mazaro is the capital city of the kingdom of Nacaran and its Duchy of Mazaritro, which is fully metropolitan area.

Infrastructure

In the Nacarani Civil War (1949-51) Mazaro was badly damaged. The civil war was almost immediately followed by economic boom and urbanization, so the downtown was rebuilt full of skyscrapers. Developments followed with a rapid transit system, whose construction started in 1955 and it is still expanding. In the 1970's the long-distance railways were reconstructed to go underground.
