President of the Federation of Central America
The President of Central America is the head of state and head of government of the Federation of Central America. The President is the head of the executive branch, the commander in-chief of the Armed Forces of Central America, and the chairperson of the Federal Security Commission. The presidency is the highest ranking office in the country ahead of the two Vice Presidents of Central America. FCA is the only country in the world that the head of state has two deputies.

The current president is Maria Magaña of the Democratic Alliance after being elected in 2022 and succeeded Jorge Marroquin of the Nationalist Party, who was elected in 2017 and served until 2022.

Election
The President of Central America had selected in their party primary to be elected through two-round system in which a candidate must receive at least 20% of the vote advances to the second round. If no candidate wins in the first round, a runoff is held between the two candidates with the largest number of votes. If a candidate in a first place have votes by the supermajority, there would be no second round.
