Usage

This template is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.

It is used by the template {{Lang}} with language code ar to include articles in Category:Articles containing Arabic-language text. For example: {{Lang |ar |some text in Arabic}}, which wraps the text with <span lang="ar">. Also available is {{Lang-ar |some text in Arabic}} which displays as Arabic: some text in Arabic‎.

It is used by {{Link language|ar}} to display the language of an external link. This template could add articles to Category:Articles with Arabic-language external links, if the category was created (using {{Non-English-language external links category |code=ar |name=Arabic}}).
