Andrei William Klavan (born July 14, 1954) is a Continental-born Brazorian author, writer and political commentator. As a writer, Klavan is best known for his books centered on the genres of crime, thriller, mystery and alternate history and has been involved in political commentator since 2007. Originally published on his personal blog, Klavan has been a contributor and frequent guest for Lone Star News since 2009.

Klavan was originally born in Manhattan, a special economic zone in New York City, Congregationalist States in the United Commonwealth and would later defect in 1978 where he fled to the Kingdom of Sierra with the rest of his family before moving to Brazoria in 1990 where he has resided since. Klavan has been a prominent figure in conservative political commentary and has appeared on other conservative news and media outlets such as EBN News and Penguin News. Since 2017, he has been a member of The American Signal where he hosts his own podcast series, On the Hour With Andrei Klavan where he covers current events and news.

Early life and education

Klavan was born in the Manhattan Island Exclusive Economic Zone in New York City on July 14, 1954. He was born a secular Jewish household. He would visit other areas of New York City and other parts of the Congregationalist States, but would largely remain in Manhattan where his family and home were based in. Klavan would live a largely average life until the protests and massacre in 1979 by the Continental Army against pro-democract protestors in Times Square. While Manhattan's status was maintained thanks to international intervention, the event horrified Klavan and his family and in response to the massacre and subsequent repression by the national government, Klavan and his family would ultimately defect and flew to the Kingdom of Sierra and settled in Berkeley, Santa Clara.

Religious conversion

Klavan was raised in a secular Jewish household where religion was rarely discussed. While his family would observe many Jewish cultural customs and traditions, they were not religious and Klavan was agnostic for his adolescence and his early adulthood. It wouldn't be until he attended U.S.C. Berkeley that Klavan would explore Christianity, though he wouldn't convert until he was 42 and was privately baptized. He would later convert to the Avignonese Catholic Church of which he remains a part of to this day.

Writing career

Political commentary

Since beginning his career in political commentary, Klavan has become a prominent figure within the conservative movement in Brazoria and in other countries across Anglo-America. Due to his status as a Continental defector and having fled following the 1979 Times Square massacre, Klavan is an ardent anti-Landonist and has denounced the ideology and communism as a whole as a dangerous ideology that is inheritly authoritarian, deprives people of freedom, and degrades nations in various ways. He is a vocal supporter of the Continental democracy movement and has interviewed numerous officials from the movement in the past and present. He has also spoken out against organizations like the Landonist International, the Chattanooga Pact, and OMEAD due to their ideological-leanings and roles in advancing Continental influence and power worldwide.
