The United Federation, officially the United Federation of Nations (UFN), is a sociopolitical, economic, and military union of worlds in the Multiverse. It consists of 10 worlds, a federal district, five major unincorporated territories, nine Major Embassies, and a million Native reservations. It is one of the largest country by both planet and total area. The Federation shares a border with The Gray Industrial Empire and with the unknown reaches to its south. With a population of over 400 trillion, it is one of the most populous countries in the multiverse. The national capital is Suburmania, and the most populous city and financial center is New York City. Z-Tech has brought economic stability and ended mass unemployment using heavy military spending, and a mixed economy. Using mass spending, the regime undertook a massive armament program, reforming their private army and rebel armies into the Federal Republican Armed Forces (armed forces), and constructed extensive public works projects, including motorways, farmlands, housing, new facilities, and promoting freedom and civil rights to all races.
The United Federation is a federal republic with three separate branches of government, including a bicameral legislature. It is a liberal democracy and Mixed-Economy; it ranks high in international measures of human rights, quality of life, income and wealth, economic competitiveness, and education; and it has low levels of perceived corruption. It has high levels of equality, allows capital punishment, and allows universal health care. As a melting pot of cultures and ethnicities, the UFN is shaped by years of immigration and assimilation.
The United Federation is a highly developed country, and its economy accounts for approximately a quarter of global GDP and is the world's largest by GDP at market exchange rates. By value, the United Federation is the world's largest importer and largest exporter. It accounts for over 7.8% of the world's total population, the U.F. holds over 80% of the total wealth in the world, the largest share held by any country. The United Federation is a member of the United Nations, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Organization of American States, NATO, and is a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council. The country makes up more than a third of global military spending and is the foremost military power in the world and a leading political, cultural, and scientific force.
The United Federation made many social and technological achievements and innovations. It is a founding member of the restored United Nations and one of the new permanent members of the United Nations Security Council. It has the world's largest economy while the Z-Tech Armed Forces comprised the world's largest standing military at their peak, also possessing the world's largest Anti-nuclear weapons arsenal. Alongside the United States, the Federation is one of the many superpowers, Making up around unknown percent of the world economy, the Federation has the world's largest economy by GDP by purchasing power parity, the largest economy by nominal GDP, and the wealthiest country. The country is one of the fastest growing major economies and is the world's largest manufacturer and exporter. The Federation is a recognized weapon state with the world's largest standing army by military personnel and largest defense budget. Z-Tech is considered to be a potential superpower due to its large markets, high innovation, economic potential, growing military strength, and influence in international affairs.
