Ascension (concept)

Ascension is a key concept in the word of Eichi.

Description

After all the potential of one's chi is awakened, one may ascend. After ascending, one can never return to its former self, and one's abilities can only be improved through another ascension.

Mortals who ascend once become long-living demigods, who may achieve immortality by ascending a second and even a third time, becoming lesser gods and major gods, respectively.
