- Polish October is an alternate history project. It's mostly centered around Greater Poland, but does explore the rest of Europe and the world. The timeline diverges around 1898 when the Poles start a revolution against their Russian, German, and Austrian rulers, this leads to a massive change in history that leads to Poland becoming one of the greatest powers in modern history. World War I, and World War II never happen, and the creation of Poland leads to the collapse of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire through some of the Polish dealings, promising a close alliance with a bunch of their minorities if they rise up against the empire, to which they do. Western Europe had also viewed positively on the Polish Revolution at the time, which led to international recognition from several world powers like the United Kingdom, France, and the United States. Or, what is left of the United States, as the American Civil War had occurred way after than OTL, in 1901.
- This project was originally from the Alternatively timeline, which I have chosen to leave. The map below is also from around February 8, 2024, an is unfinished.
