Cienugueza (Lembay cienugueza, IPA: [lem'baʃ t͡ʃenu'gesa]) is an Indo-European language spoken in Qenuga that evolved from the Spanish language. It is an official language of Qenuga since the 24th century, and as of modern-day, is co-official with the Tagdamun language. It is the second most-spoken native language in Qenuga behind Tagdamun, however can be understood by virtually all Chungganese people.
Cienugueza vocabulary is notably distinct from Spanish due to its relative isolation from other Spanish-speaking countries, as well as conservative linguistic purism policies implemented by the Cienugueza Linguistic Scholars' Association (Alsozcí pas Erditos lembayicos cienuguezas). Cienugueza is a secondary language for most functions in Qenuga society, however lends some part of its vocabulary to Tagdamun despite the two languages' conservative tendencies.
Cienugueza is a fusional language, with many of its grammatical features inherited from and innovated upon Spanish.
