Deira, Officially Kingdom of Deira, is a sovereign nation situated on the Deyr Peninsula, located to the west of Central Verdantis. Deira comprises of Deyr, Iara and Southcoethen. It borders Zuberaia, Chaolasia, Hvltonia, to the east, and Valhürner, Vohylt-Tvahorner, Köthen, Harliid to the west. The nation's capital and most populous city is Drysden, and other major cities includes Mayport, Stratham, Lenfurt and Belkhram. With a population of over 71.35 million, Deira is the world's 21st-most populous country.
In 1800, the Kingdom of Deyr and the Kingdom of Iara united under the Union Treaty of 1800 to create the Union Kingdom of Deyr-Iara. Following the Treaty of Rudolberg, ending the War of 1807, the Südköthen region was ceded to Union Kingdom of Deyr-Iara. After a four-year "harmonisation" period that saw the region being integrated into the Deyr-Iaran administrative and legal system, the region was formally incorporated into the Union of Deyr-Iara as the State of Southcoethen. Under the Royal Territories and Parliamentary Titles Act of 1817, the new name of the country, "Deira", is created and declared officially.
The Kingdom of Deira is one of the first industrialized country and one of the world's superpower for the majority of the 19th and early 20th centuries. At its height in 19 (to be continued and refined)
Deira is a federal parliamentary constitutional monarchy comprising of 2 Kingdoms; Kingdom of Deyr and Kingdom of Iara, 1 self-governing state; State of Southcoethen, and 5 states; Archenshire, Caershire, Westhamshire, Aswington, and Eidalen. (To be refined)
The country is multiethnic and multicultural. About half of its population are ethnically Deiric, with minorities of Köthic, Hvltonian, and Zuberaian. (To be refined)
Deira has a highly developed market economy and one of the highest per capita incomes globally. At the present day, Deira is a middle power and has the world X-highest military expenditure. It is a member of the international groups including the World Mandate Organization; the World Financial Concordat; and the defence and security organization Organization of Free Seterran Nations, Deiric Commonwealth Defence Agreement and Central Verdantis Defence Arrangement.

Colonial Expansion
In 1827, Kingdom of Deira set sails for Colytheus, driven by the Industrial Revolution in their country, and the need for resources. By 1850, a third of Colytheus is colonized by Deira. Deira participated in the Dormagen Conference in Reussich capital of Dormagen, which the conference finalised the colonial borders between nations in Colytheus. (To be refined)

The Deiric Armed Forces consists of 3 service branches: the Royal Deiric Army, Royal Deiric Navy and the Royal Deiric Air Force. As of currently, the Deiric Armed Forces does not have a conscription system. The required age for voluntary military service is 18 years old. The Deiric Armed Forces are managed by the Ministry of Defence and controlled by the Deiric Defence Council, chaired by the Secretary of State Defence (Deira). The Commander-in-chief is the Deiric monarch, to whom members of the armed forces swear an oath of allegiance. The Armed Forces are responsible with protecting the Kingdom of Deira. They are an active member of the World Mandate Organization (WMO), supporting its international peacekeeping operations. They are also an active member of the Organization of Free Seterran Nations (OFSN), Central Verdantis Defence Arrangement (CVDA), and Deiric Commonwealth Defence Agreement (DCDA).
In 2024, the defence spending is 2.5% of GDP, representing as the world's Xth largest defence budget.
