The official languages of Beccia are Beccian and Prillovanian.

Beccian, a Jorvano-Clawmic language, is closely related to Mikalandese.

Provincial government signs—such as those on highways, government buildings, and hospitals—are generally posted exclusively in Beccian and Prillovanian. However, tourist information is provided in Prillovanian, English, and other languages.

Although no other foreign languages are widely spoken besides English, the past few decades of significant immigration have introduced a variety of languages into Beccia's major cities. You might hear and even see signs in Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi, Gujarati, Valhallan, Mikalandese, Clawmian, Jorvanian, Lavenderese, and various varieties of Davo-Hetherian.

In the Serenlands, the Serenlandic (Śerenlandski) language is spoken in small parts of the region by the Serenlanders. Additionally, Clerkenburger and Willerian are widely spoken by the large ethnic Clerkenburger and Willerian communities, particularly in the border regions with Clerkenburg and Willeria.

Like the Clerkenburgers, Willerians and the Englaterrians, the Beccians often say "sorry" (sorri), which in this context is not an expression of guilt or self-consciousness. Instead, it is synonymous with "excuse me" or "pardon" and is used to attract attention. Any comments like "What are you sorry about?" (TBD) may be met with confusion, as the phrase is deeply ingrained in Beccian etiquette.
