The Chairman of the State Council (Kýrrish: Formand for Statsrådet af Kýrland) is the highest ranking person on the State Council of Kýrland. While the State Council acts as a collective head of state, the chairman is typically the one to carry out state functions. In the wider government of Kýrland, the chairman is the second-highest ranking office in Kýrland's political system, under the Fører of the National Social Unity Party/Leader of the Nation (Nationalfører), and holds the highest rank in the civil service of the central government, above the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, the head of government.
