Yamaguchi descends from German-Brazorians on her mother's side and Samurai on her father's side. She has been active in tightening abortion laws in the country. She is one of the three only Libertarian politicians in the current session of the Diet.

Abortion
Yamaguchi has called for a Federal ban on abortion before she was elected, calling it a "life or death issue." She has also called for a treaty to ban abortions in CAS member states.
LGBT issues
Yamaguchi has has called for marriage laws to be left up to individual provinces, while advocating for a ban on same-sex marriages and transitions in Colorado. She has also called for a recall of current Governor Jeffery Marx.
Foreign policy
Yamaguchi has called for a non-interventionist policy. Especially towards China and Syria. She has called the foreing deployment of Brazorian soldiers "a waste of money" and a "dumpster fire of horse manure." She is also against Brazoria joining the Indo-Pacific Treaty Organization.
