Brief History of America

Ancestors of America's indigenous peoples migrated across the Bering land bridge more than 12,000 years ago. Beginning in 1607, British colonization led to the establishment of the Thirteen Colonies in what is now the Eastern American Socialist Commonwealth. In 1775 and 1776, in response to high British Imperial taxes imposed by HM King George III that were generally unpopular, 13 of Britain's American colonies banded together and formed a temporary provisional government known as the United States of America, under command of General George Washington. By 1779, the rebellion had failed and would eventually be known as the Patriot Rebellion of 76'. People like Franklin, Adams, Jefferson, Hancock, Washington, Allen, and Hamilton were all executed by the British government. In 1834, another failed rebellion, this one known as the Jackson Rebellion, was led by General Andrew Jackson in response to the British Empire signing an abolition of the institution of slavery. In 1905, the IWW was formed.
