Meoirr na Lóda railway station (Rockallian: Stáition na nMheoirr na Lóda) is a railway station serving the village of Meoirr na Lóda in the Barony of Dhéaseloda, Viscountcy of An Thir na tÁirdteachd in Rockall in the Seafaring Confederation, serving the southern tip of the Meoirr. It serves as the western terminus of the Yellow Line for both Stoppers and Intercities.

Location

The station is located approximately 800 metres from the sea atop a natural cliff at a height of 202 metres above sea level on the southern tip of the Meoirr, approximately 20 miles southwestwards from the next station, Dánneirth na nDárna. It is located in an urban green area known as Páirc Éduiardh.

The upper part of the village of Meoirr na Lóda surrounds the railway station, with at the foot of the cliff the lower part of the village. The village of Ubéarn lies approximately four miles northwest from the station, and the village of Illéain two miles to the west.

The National Road T502 passes by the station approximately 100 metres to the west. The Sríad gUbéarn and Sríad gIlléain lie within 200 metres of the station and provide road access to Ubéarn and Illéain.

Services

Meoirr na Lóda is served by the Yellow Line, providing both Stopper and Intercity services to An Bhá Góirm and An Bhá nan Éirith Ghréine. Two trains per hour leave the station most of the day, alternatingly a Stopper and an Intercity. During rush hours this increases to four trains per hour, again alternatingly a Stopper and an Intercity. Between 10 pm and 5 am services only leave once an hour, still alternatingly a Stopper and an Intercity.

Stoppers leave from platform 1, Intercities leave from platform 2.

Meoirr na Lóda is unmanned. It has a parking area with 300 parking places, a restaurant, toilets, and baggage lockers. Tickets can be bought at the self-service ticket machine; check-in poles for the CIP are also present, as well as an upgrade station.
