Spain at the 2020 Summer Olympics
Spain competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Istanbul, Anatolian Republic. Originally schedueled to take place from July 24 to August 9 2020, the games were postponned to July 24 to August 9 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since its debut in 1920, Spanish athletes have competed in nearly every single edition of the Summer Olympic Games with the exception of the 1936 Summer Olympics in Saint Anthony, Superior (withdrawn due to the Spanish Civil War) and hosted the 1976 Summer Olympics in the capital of Madrid. Spain competed in every sport except baseball, rugby season, surfing, and wrestling.

Spanish athletes exited the games winning a total of 17 medals: three gold, eight silver, six bronze. Two out of three of Spain's gold medals were won in Olympic sports that made their official debuts, karate and sport climbing.
