• More than 60 people are found dead inside a cargo container Tete Province, Mozambique. The deceased are believed to be Ethiopian migrants who all died of mass asphyxiation, though 14 people are found alive.

    • Egypt announces the implementation of a nationwide curfew that will last from 7pm to 6am for two weeks in an effort to stop the spread of the virus. Those violating the curfew with be fined 4,000 pounds or jailed.

      • The number of COVID-19 cases in Sierra rises to 2,212 with 32 more deaths confirmed. The Styxie provinces go into a state of lockdown.
      • Prime Minister Nemesis Heartwell tests positive for COVID-19 and is in self-quarantine under the direction and supervision of the Getty House Medical House. Several other lawmakers including Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Lee are also self-isolating due to possible exposure.

      • Vice President Tseng Yang says that the Federal Response Agency will send 4,000 new ventilators to New Netherlands in response to equipment shortages in hospitals as a total of 22,000 cases are now confirmed in the country, the bulk of which are within the State of New Netherlands.

      • Nine members of the local police department in New Hamburg have tested positive for COVID-19 with at least one confirmed death. Another 233 police officers have been quarantined since Sunday.
