The Cabinet of Georgia is the executive body of the government of Georgia led by the President. The leadership makes all major policy decisions behind closed doors, which are then implemented by the country's civil service and judiciary. Georgia is a democratic socialist state and governance is based on the socialist policy of the Democratic Socialist Party of Georgia. The cabinet is confirmed by the Constituent Assembly. The President, who appoints the cabinet ministers, heads the cabinet.
