A Tyranny Known as Truth (ATKAT) serves as an alternative universe to The Objective: Legend of Urlum the Evil where Uingffh does not initially engage in interstellar imperialism and instead forms diplomatic unions with the other neighboring alien civilizations, forming a democratic federal union known as Polyingffh early on.

Though conflicts still break out occasionally, the stars seem more peaceful without massive de facto empires asserting political dominance over the other alien races. However, the situation quickly changes when Urlum Eudae Kaywell discovers ancient alien ruins that reveal that the Izlondians, the direct ancestors of the tabulon species, seeded all non-Uingffhian life in local space - a revelation that takes Polyingffh by storm. Though her discovery is lauded by Polyingffh's scientists and historians, radical xenophobic forces within Urlum's home country - the Kingdom of Kaywell - seek to exploit her discovery to transform Kaywell from an egalitarian democracy to an ultra-conservative theocratic speciesist regime hellbent on enslaving all non-Uingffhian sentients in the name of Izlondia and Uingffhian supremacy, even if it means the devastation of Uingffh itself.

It should be noted that the ATKAT and LOUTE universes do not canonically interact. Additionally, knowledge of LOUTE lore is not required to view ATKAT articles.
