Gottfried Kallinger (born July 3, 1945) is a retired German Army field marshal who served as the Supreme Allied Commander Europe from 2001 to 2004, the Chief of Army Staff from 1999 to 2001, and as commander of Allied Land Command from 1996 to 1999. He is the most decorated German soldier since Great War II.
