The 2019 Leopoldean presidential election was the XXth presidential election held in São Leopoldo. It took place on May 20, 2019. Former Alegre senator and Liberal candidate Matheus Teixera won in the election, defeating former Vice President and New Democratic Union candidate Jaime Moreira, former Montevideo city deputy and United People's candidate Gilberto Flores, and other candidates.
