The 2020 Asia Cup was the 20th Asia Cup, a triennial regional championship for senior men's national association football teams geographically located in Asia. It took place from 5 January to 1 February 2020 in the Federation of Arabia. It was the first Asia Cup to be hosted by a West Asian country and the first to be held in the winter. It was also the third Asia Cup to be held outside of East and Southeast Asia.
51 matches were played in 5 stadiums in four host cities around the country, with the opening and final matches being played at Saladin International Stadium in Dubai. Twenty teams were selected for participation based on qualification tournaments beginning in March 2017, while three teams were invited by the host.
