The AM-777, also called the AM-T7 (Triple Seven) is a bull-pup style carbine rifle designed by Union of Everett based weapons and arms manufacturer Armor Militant Defense Industries. The official name is Armor Militant July 7th 2007 (AM-777). The numbers 777 come from the date of concept, July 7, 2007. The AM-777 became the primary service rifle of the Union of Everett Armed Forces in 2011, phasing out usage of the M4 carbine.

Specifications

The AM-777 consists of a metal body with a bullpup design which allows the gun to be shorter and lighter. It fires both the 5.56x45mm round and the 6.8 SPC round. The barrel and chamber of the gun turns, switches and pulls out from the rear and can be replaced with a barrel and chamber for 6.8 rounds. The standard size barrel and chamber is 5.56x45, however. The AM-777A1 and A2 models have three select-fire modes, semi-automatic, three round burst and full automatic. It features an ambidextrous fire mode selector above the pistol grip. The gun also features a recoil reduction system to allow easier use of the gun while firing. It accepts standard STANAG magazines. It can also be mounted with the M203 grenade launcher. The AM-777 has ejection ports on both sides of the rifle so it can easily be reconfigured for right or left-handed shooters. The gun was designed to be modular, allowing for various customization similar to the preceding M4 carbine and other AR-15 style rifles.

A newer AM-777A3 variant is a civilian model, featuring only a semi-automatic firing mode.
