Allmänna Seaniska Električal Aktiebolaget (English translation: General Seanish Electrical Limited Company; Prillovanian abbreviation: ASEA) was a Prillovanian industrial and electronic company.
Founding and Early Years
ASEA was founded in the 1830s by Ludvig Fredholm in Limmared, Commonwealth Union of the Seanish States, as an electrical manufacturing company. Initially focused on producing electrical equipment for industrial applications, ASEA quickly established itself as a leader in the burgeoning field of electrical engineering. By the turn of the century, the company had expanded its operations to include the production of transformers, generators, and electric motors.
ASEA’s early work was instrumental in electrifying Sean. The company supplied equipment for the country’s first electrical power plant in the 1850s, and its products were soon being used in power plants and factories across Phrazea. ASEA’s innovative designs and commitment to quality helped it build a strong reputation and secure major contracts, allowing it to grow rapidly.

Re-acquisition and breakup by Allmän Elektriš
In December 1985, it was announced that Allmän Elektriš would reacquire its former subsidiary for TBD. AE's acquisition of ASEA was the largest non-oil company merger in history up to that time and was completed on June, 9, 1986. Despite initial assurances that ASEA would continue to operate as a mostly autonomous unit, it was revealed that AE's main motivation in purchasing ASEA was to acquire the corporation's defense-related businesses and Nationell Radio. Over the next few years, AE proceeded to sell off most of ASEA's remaining assets. In 1986, ASEA sold Beccia Entertainment Television to Kinnevik. In 1987, AE disposed of its 50% interest in ASEA Records to its partner Bertelsmann, and the company was renamed Bertelsmann Music Group.
