Indiana (These Chimes of Indiana)
These Chimes of Indiana is a famed song by the Indiana University, it was chosen for its simplicity and the feelings of loyalty towards the city it evoked.
Lyrics
Sing these chimes of Indiana,
Hail to the crimson hue;
Sing her praise to Gloriana,
Hail to our old Indiana
Lift your voices, join in loyal chorus
Let your heart rejoice in praise of those before us,
Sing these chimes of Indiana,
Ever to her be true!
Oil City (Oil Chapel)
Oil Chapel is the current anthem of Oil City. It represents that Oil City is a place of safety, sheltered from the most extremes of the atomic wastelands. It tells that Oil City is still a heaven of emotion, art, acceptance, and nonreligious views. These values were based entirely off the Constitution of Oil City, and the actual song was written four years after the passing of the constitution and Acts of Oil City.
Lyrics
My body is sanctuary,
My blood is pure.
You want me bad,
I think you're cool,
But I'm not sure.
Follow me,
Don't me such a holy fool!
Follow me,
I need something more from you!
It's not about sex or champagne,
You holy fool.
If you want me,
Meet me at oil chapel.
If you want me,
Meet me at oil chapel.
If you want to steal my heart away.
Meet me, meet me baby in a safe place.
Come on, meet me in oil chapel.
Confess to me where you have been,
Next to the bar. Pray for your sins,
Right under the glass civil ball.
Follow me,
Don't me such a holy fool!
Follow me,
I need something sacred from you!
Together we'll find a way,
To make a pure love work and a dirty way.
If you want me,
Meet me at oil chapel.
If you want me,
Meet me at oil chapel.
If you wanna steal my heart away,
Meet me, meet me baby in a safe place.
Come on, meet me in electric chapel.
If you want me,
Meet me at oil chapel.
If you want me,
Meet me at oil chapel.
If you wanna steal my heart away,
Meet me, meet me baby in a safe place,
Come on, meet me in oil chapel.
Texas (Deep in the Heart of Texas)
Deep in the Heart of Texas is the current anthem of the Republic of Texas which highlights all the pre-War merits of the land. The Heroes of New Texas sang the song around the campfire in the early days of the Republic, and thus it grew on the people. However, it is not known who originally wrote or sang the song. It was later selected as the official anthem because of its popularity.
Lyrics
The stars at night, are big and bright,
deep in the heart of Texas,
The prairie sky is wide and high,
deep in the heart of Texas.
The sage in bloom is like perfume,
deep in the heart of Texas,
Reminds me of, the one I love,
deep in the heart of Texas.
The coyotes wail, along the trail,
deep in the heart of Texas,
The rabbits rush, around the brush,
deep in the heart of Texas.
The cowboys cry, "Ki-yip-pee-yi,"
deep in the heart of Texas,
The dogies bawl, and bawl and bawl,
deep in the heart of Texas.
California (I love you California)
While expanding their government and national identity, the New California Republic decided to use the old state of California's anthem, I love you California, as the New California Republic's national anthem, however the lyrics of the anthem were altered for the new nation.
Lyrics
I love you New California . . . you're the greatest nation of all . . .
I love you in the winter, summer, spring, and in the fall.
I love your fertile valleys, your dear mountains I adore.
I love your grand old ocean and I love her rugged shore.
When the snow crowned Golden Sierras, Keep their watch o'er the valleys bloom.
It is there I would be in our land by the sea, Every breeze bearing rich perfume.
It is here nature gives of her rarest. It is Home Sweet Home to me.
And I know when I die I shall breathe my last sigh, For my sunny New California.
I love your redwood forests - love your fields of yellow grain.
I love your summer breezes, and I love your winter rain.
I love you, land of flowers; land of honey, fruit and wine.
I love you, New California; you have won this heart of mine.
I love your old gray Missions - love your vineyards stretchings far.
I love you, New California, with your Golden Gate ajar.
I love your purple sunsets, love your skies of azure blue.
I love you, New California; I just can't help loving you.
I love you, Catalina - you are very dear to me.
I love you, Tamalpais, and I love Yosemite.
I love you, Land of Sunshine.
Half your beauties are untold.
I loved you in my childhood, and I'll love you when I'm old.
Reformed States (Star-Spangled Banner)
The Reformed States of America in Washington used the original Star-Spangled Banner for their anthem, due to their belief in being the true successor to the US.
Lyrics
O say can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
Confederate States (God Save the South)
The CSA chose to use the song God Save the South for their national anthem, a traditional song from describing their nature and desire for freedom.
Lyrics
God save the South, God save the South,
Her altars and firesides, God save the South!
Now that the war is nigh, now that we arm to die,
Chanting our battle cry, "Freedom or death!"
Chanting our battle cry, "Freedom or death!"
God be our shield, at home or afield,
Stretch Thine arm over us, strengthen and save.
What tho' they're three to one, forward each sire and son,
Strike till the war is won, strike to the grave!
Strike till the war is won, strike to the grave!
God made the right stronger than might,
Millions would trample us down in their pride.
Lay Thou their legions low, roll back the ruthless foe,
Let the proud spoiler know God's on our side.
Let the proud spoiler know God's on our side.
Hark honor's call, summoning all.
Summoning all of us unto the strife.
Sons of the South, awake!
Strike till the brand shall break,
Strike for dear Honor's sake, Freedom and Life!
Strike for dear Honor's sake, Freedom and Life!
Rebels before, our fathers of yore.
Rebel's the righteous name Washington bore.
Why, then, be ours the same, the name that he snatched from shame,
Making it first in fame, foremost in war.
Making it first in fame, foremost in war.
War to the hilt, theirs be the guilt,
Who fetter the free man to ransom the slave.
Up then, and undismay'd, sheathe not the battle blade,
Till the last foe is laid low in the grave!
Till the last foe is laid low in the grave!
God save the South, God save the South,
Dry the dim eyes that now follow our path.
Still let the light feet rove safe through the orange grove,
Still keep the land we love safe from Thy wrath.
Still keep the land we love safe from Thy wrath.
God save the South, God save the South,
Her altars and firesides, God save the South!
For the great war is nigh, and we will win or die,
Chanting our battle cry, "Freedom or death!"
Chanting our battle cry, "Freedom or death!"
Atlantic Union (Battle Cry of Freedom)
The Atlantic Union's anthem was an original song that was written during the Civil War. The Union choose it out of its history with the Union. It exemplifies the fight for liberty, unity, and freedom, as well as the unity of the Union itself.
Lyrics
Oh we'll rally round the flag, boys, we'll rally once again,
Shouting the battle cry of freedom,
And we'll rally from the hillside, we'll gather from the plain,
Shouting the battle cry of freedom.
The Union forever, hurrah! boys, hurrah!
Down with the traitors, up with the stars;
While we rally round the flag, boys, we rally once again,
Shouting the battle cry of freedom!
Oh we're springing to the call for three hundred thousand more,
Shouting the battle cry of freedom!
And we'll fill the vacant ranks with a million freemen more,
Shouting the battle cry of freedom.
We will welcome to our numbers the loyal, true and brave,
Shouting the battle cry of freedom!
And although he may be poor, he shall never be a slave,
Shouting the battle cry of freedom!
So we're springing to the call from the East and from the West,
Shouting the battle cry of Freedom;
And we'll hurl the rebel crew from the land we love the best,
Shouting the battle cry of Freedom.
Alaska (Alaska's Flag)
The original anthem for the state of Alaska, the song is supposed to speak about the symbolic meaning of the Alaskan flag, and thus the meaning of Alaska itself. During the reign of the first dictator of Alaska this song continued to be its official anthem.
Lyrics
Eight stars of gold on a field of blue -
Alaska's flag. May it mean to you
The blue of the sea, the evening sky,
The mountain lakes, and the flow'rs nearby;
The gold of the early sourdough's dreams,
The precious gold of the hills and streams;
The brilliant stars in the northern sky,
The "Bear" - the "Dipper" - and, shining high,
The great North Star with its steady light,
Over land and sea a beacon bright.
Alaska's flag - to Alaskans dear,
The simple flag of a last frontier.
Nevada (Home Means Nevada)
The New Nevada Republic was created by the NCR, and its anthem was chosen from the original state's official song, Home Means Nevada. The song is intended to invoke a national feeling towards the state and young republic, even if it exists virtually to aid the NCR.
Lyrics
Way out in the land of the setting sun,
Where the wind blows wild and free,
There's a lovely spot, just the only one
That means home sweet home to me.
If you follow the old Kit Carson trail,
Until desert meets the hills,
Oh you certainly will agree with me,
It's the land of a thousand thrills.
Home means Nevada,
Home means the hills,
Home means the sage and the pine.
Out by the Truckee's silvery rills,
Out where the sun always shines,
There is the land that I love the best,
Fairer than all I can see.
Right in the heart of the golden west
Home, means Nevada to me.
Whenever the sun at the close of day,
Colors all the western sky,
Oh my heart returns to the desert grey
And the mountains tow'ring high.
Where the moon beams play in shadowed glen,
With the spotted fawn and doe,
All the live long night until morning light,
Is the loveliest place I know.
Home means Nevada,
Home means the hills,
Home means the sage and the pines.
Out by the Truckee's silvery rills,
Out where the sun always shines,
There is the land that I love the best,
Fairer than all I can see.
Right in the heart of the golden west
Home means Nevada to me.
Right in the heart of the golden west
Home means Nevada to me.

Lyrics
God bless America, land that I love
Stand beside her and guide her
Through the night with the light from above
From the mountains to the prairies
To the oceans white with foam
God bless America, my home sweet home
God bless America, land that I love
Stand beside her and guide her
Through the night with the light from above
From the mountains to the prairies
To the oceans white with foam
God bless America, my home sweet home
From the mountains to the prairies
To the oceans white with foam
God bless America, my home sweet home
God bless America, my home sweet home
