Arlo (676 – 749), better known as Arleroche ("Arlo the Rock") and the Undefeated, was Duke of Aurithasia from 710 and later King of the Battani from 726 until his death in 749, although he only ruled the west-central parts of Bataigne. His son, Marcoman, would go on to unite all the Battani. Arlo earned his nickname after defeating numerous military invasions, including those of the Huvars and Tisones (720), the Zaphrites (725 and 734), the Luvoi (731), the Stonati (735), and the Vosa (739–41). Said to have never lost a battle, he died of natural causes.
Life
Arlo was the second son of Badevis, and was named after his ancestor, Arlo the Ancient. He inherited Aurithasia after the death of his brother Domeric in 710.
