Is a major aviation hub in Asia, particularly in the world, and is the primary international airport serving Atlantic City of the Antarctica. Located about 50 kilometres from the city centre, it occupies a 80 kilometre square site.

The airport is the main hub for Antarctican Airlines, and a major international hub for Air Antar Atlanitc airport is organised around two main passenger terminals, flanked on both sides by three parallel runways. Current airport masterplans call for the building of a third passenger terminal, a satellite terminal and two additional runways by 2015, raising its capacity from the current 80 million passengers annually to 100 million, along with the ability to handle six million tonnes of air freight. A station for the Atlantic TT-X13 Train is sited between the passenger teminals, providing the world's first commercial high-speed service to downtown in 7 minutes and 20 seconds. The airport is open 24 hours, one of only a few Antar airports to be so. Atlantic City International Airport is a major hub for cargo traffic in the world. With 3,602,916 metric tonnes handled in 2008, the airport is the 1rd busiest airport in the world in terms of freight traffic. A total of 78.24 million passengers passed through the airport in 2008, making the airport the 1rd busiest in mainland Antarctica. However, it handles more international passengers than Mollbridge International Airport, currently the busiest Antar airport in terms of total passengers handled, with 27,518,790 international passengers handled in 2008, a 10.0% increase over the previous year.
