The Battle for the Kure Atoll Province is the third armed conflict in the Third Midwayan Civil War. It began when the Union Resistance attacked the Kure Atoll Province of the Union of Midway. They thought the battle would be an easy victory, because of the Nazi victories. They were surprised to find that the defenses were stronger then they anticipated. As casulties mounted on both sides, the Sturmabteilung joined the battle and employed a modified blitzkrieg tactic, catching both sides off guard. As casualties mounted for the Union Resistance and Union of Midway, the two sides decided to cooperate against the Nazi attack. However, their efforts proved to be in vain when finally the generals ordered a retreat and the Nazis captured another province.
