1. Nuclear Bombing of Kyiv |
World War III began in Eastern Europe on 24 November 2024 with the Russo-Ukrainian war escalating as Kyiv is destroyed by a nuclear weapon in the early morning of 22 November 2024. Dates for the beginning of the intensification of East Asian Tensions include the Third Sino-Japanese War on 23 November 2024. Other theorized starting dates for World War III include the increase in Israeli-Palestinian tensions in early November 2023, or the increase in Russian-Polish tensions in late November 2022 with the accidental missile strikes in Przewodów that killed two. Most, however, view the Russo-Ukrainian war as a prelude to World War III, which started in February 2014.
