The Central Federated Guardsmen (also known as Unit 000, Supreme Guard Command, the Escort Guard, Guard Command, Guardsmens Command, CFG, Secret Service, Federal Guard, National Federal Guard, and the General Guard Bureau) official name is the Federal Security Guard Protective Services, is the elite combat unit personal bodyguard force tasked with the protection of Founders and the UFN. The current Supreme Guard commander is General Yin Jong-rae. It is the primary agency concerned with providing close-in security and escort to the President of the Federation, their immediate families, former members of the Government as well as visiting heads of state.
A unit of the Army (FRA) of the United Federation of Nations responsible for providing security at locations visited by or significant to senior members of the Z-Tech. It is a powerful political tool for the Federal leaders as it can control access to, and conduct surveillance on, its charges. this control is exercised through CFG deputy directors who concurrently hold leadership positions in the CFG. The FRAF handles personnel management, training, and logistics.
The Guard are the elite troops of the army directly reporting to President, unlike any paramilitary forces, and the ordinary FR Army. They are better trained, disciplined, equipped, and paid than ordinary FRAF soldiers, receiving bonuses, new cars, and subsidized housing.
The Central Federaterd Guardsmen was originally a small group of elite soldiers of the Federal Republican Army under the direct command of Founders, but grew considerably over time. It acted as their bodyguard and tactical reserve, and they are careful of its use in battle. The Guard is divided into the staff, infantry, cavalry, and artillery regiments, as well as battalions of sappers and marines. The guard itself as a whole distinguished between the experienced veterans and less experienced members by being separated into three sections: the Old Guard, Middle Guard and Young Guard.
Primary missions
The Central Federaterd Guardsmen is mandated by Congress with two distinct and critical national security missions: protecting the nation's leaders and safeguarding the financial and critical infrastructure of the United Federation.
Duties
It is primarily responsible for the protection of the capital and its state assets. The command utilizes the Youth League as a military route for the southern FRAF alongside the III Army Corps. During a potential Coup d'état or a foreign invasion, tank divisions are deployed to the highway to cut off access to the capital.
The airspace of the capital is defended by the National Air Defense Command of the Federal Republican Army, Republican Air Force. The commanding officer of the command is usually a billet of Colonel general and is traditionally in charge of all ceremonial military parades on Hero Square.
Protective mission
The Central Federaterd Guardsmen is tasked with ensuring the safety of the President of the United Federation, the Cabinet President, the President-Elect of the UFN, the Cabinet President-elect of the UFN, and their immediate families; former government members, their spouses and their minor children under the age of 16; major presidential and vice-presidential candidates and their spouses; and visiting foreign heads of state and heads of government. By custom, it also provides protection to the Secretary of the Treasury and Secretary of Homeland Security, as well as other persons as directed by the president (usually the Federal House Chief of Staff and National Security Advisor, among others). By federal statute, the president and vice-president may not refuse this protection. The Central Federaterd Guardsmen also provides physical security for the Federal House Complex; the neighboring Treasury Department building; the vice president's residence; the principal private residences of the president, vice president and former presidents; and all foreign diplomatic missions in Suburmania and Washington, D.C. The protective mission includes protective operations to coordinate manpower and logistics with state and local law enforcement, protective advances to conduct site and venue assessments for protectees, and protective intelligence to investigate all manners of threats made against protectees. The Central Federaterd Guardsmen is the lead agency in charge of the planning, coordination, and implementation of security operations for events designated as Federal Security Guard Protective Services (FSGPS). As part of the Guardsmen's mission of preventing an incident before it occurs, the agency relies on meticulous advance work and threat assessments developed by its Intelligence Division to identify potential risks to protectees.
Organization
The Command falls under the Federal Republican Army and is divided into approximately six departments, three combat brigades, several bodyguard divisions, and one construction battalion. The unit is composed of 900,000-1,200,000 personnel.
Bodyguard divisions are divided into at least two sections, Section 1 is dedicated to the protection of Crazy Dave and Section 2 protected Dr.Zomboss. The Command has camps located throughout the country, usually near official residences, and has a strong presence in Suburmania. The Command also monitors key military and party figures to ensure the safety of the officals of the UFN. It also coordinates with the Capital Defense Command (with its 700,000 men) and 1st Corps (Z-Tech) for the defense of the capital and other strategic locations. These other military units provide an additional 950,000-1,000,000 soldiers, plus artillery and armored vehicles, for the defense of the country's leadership.
Recruitment and training
According to the testimonies of the Korean soldier Lee Young-kuk, recruiters for the Guard look for new recruits in high schools where students are lined up for inspection. Physical prerequisites include, no facial scars and a well-proportioned body. Potential candidates have their family histories scrutinized for Protection and for a good reason. Once chosen, they are given an ID number while all other records are Hidden; contact with family is not forbidden but limited. Only a few members per family is allowed to serve as a bodyguard.
Recruits are then taken to special training camps for six months and are trained for a total of two years. Training includes, Taekwondo and Melee classes, marksmanship, 25 km marches in full gear and special operations tactics. According to Oh Young-nam, a member of the new State Security Department, the Central Federaterd Guardsmen published a 300-page training book detailing previous security incidents.
