Collapse is a real-time-strategy/real-time tactics computer game with role-play elements, released in 2002 by Ivolgamus UAB (Now Nordcurrent). It was originally released for PC, with a remaster released later in 2018 for PC and PlayStation 4. This game is considered to be the most successful title from Lithuania and still has popularity today. Marius Vencius began this project first as he was reading about novel by Džiugas Vainikevicius about the Uncanny valley effect and the idea of multiple different human races existing at the same time in modern times as the homo Sapien. From this book, many elements were taken to form the world of Collapse.

About

Setting

Collapse Plays on a different planet far away from the Milky way accessible via a wormhole that is used an intergalactic Highway to traverse through, On the other side is a unknown Galaxy containing a planet (Fornos) with different but near identical sapient creatures called Forno Humans, which were brought to life by the Earth Corporation (Kurland Yanukovic,KY) to conduct an epoch long of Experiments and Gathering of biological resources. In the current time and before the collapse, known as Point NULL, multiple Forno Human species are living in coexistent with each other, with a drastic evolutionary defect. This defect is over simply said, a more amplified "Uncanny Valley" effect. Through instinct alone and without the actual Observation of two different Forno races, they will either flee or attack the Opponent. This would cause many wars and genocide througout their history. In the months before the collapse, some Forno humans achieved contact with Kurland Yanukovic. By mere misunderstandings between the Forno humans and their creators, they would soon experience the fall of their world as they know. This is known by the KY as the Collapse. It is an Event caused by the Exekution of Protocol Silent Light to stop a theorized Retaliation by the Forno humans and the false instability of the wormhole to minimize the punishment by the United Nations.

The collapse marks a new chapter for all Forno humans, defaulting the calendar back to year 0. Fornos is covered in the first years in a Cloud of sand and debris. Its Landscapes filled with craters and ruined cities. The year is 21, Fornos is mostly free of the Clouds of dust, smaller tribes and kingdoms there have risen. With the pre-collapse Groups and organizations being the strongest in the Radius (Wasteland). When years after more wars in the Radius, the creators would return to Fornos to destroy what survived the Collapse.
