Danny Martin Jackson (born September 28, 1977) is a Superian politician serving as a member of the House of Delegates for Fall River and Jackson Valley (Lakota's 4th electoral district) since 2019. He is a member of the Christian Democratic Party. Prior to being elected to parliament, he served as a member of the Lakota Public Utilities Commission between 2010 and 2019 and was part of gubernatorial campaign for Joseph Noem during the electoral race in 2019.
In 2022, Danny Jackson ran for the position as leader of the Christian Democratic Party during the leadership race to succeede Charles Griffith following his resignation, announcing his candidacy on July 15. Danny ran as a liberal conservative, a part of the more moderate center-right wing of the Christian Democrats, supporting ending Public Health Program coverage of abortion and euthenasia, backing Superian membership in the Conference of American States, opposing drug liberalization, and opposing both the United Commonwealth and Landonism. He came in third place in the overall race, winning 5.6% of the popular vote.
Early life and education
Jackson was born in the state capital of Pierre, Lakota. He attended T.F. Riggs High School, the only high school in the city, and graduated in 1995. He later attended the University of Lakota where he graduated in 2000 with a bachelor of arts. During his college years, he was a member of the fraternity order Phi Delta Theta.
