Democrats

Democrats (Demokratai) is a center-right, Conservative, political party in Thorway. The party was founded in 1990 by Alexander Thulesen, Anne Larsen and Mikkel Jungdal. It currently has 16 seats in parliament, and is a part of the Blue Alliance, an opposition to the Green Alliance, who is currently the governmental alliance. The current leader of the Party is Anne Larsen.

Policies

Being conservative both fiscally and socially, Democrats generally favours lower taxes, smaller government and more decentralization of federal government powers to the regions and municipalities. The Party is against homosexual marriage and adoption. Democrats wants a larger defense of the contry, and want to put more money in to the national army.
